stevens has a NO CHAIN policy, you park it, unless you volunteer to be part of the chain gang, and have experience, used to be 2 years.

You won't chain up with Stevens. It chains are needed we park. There are just a few places in the Winter where we go that it is required by law that we carry chains, so we pick them up on the way in and drop them off on the way out.

Most wouldn't fit the trucks if we tried to put them on.

    fieldchaser Thanks this.

I live in Colorado and last year I only chained to go over I-70. Once you throw chains a few times its nothing. Its a good experience to have. I don't work for stevens I just like to read post about various companies.

    fieldchaser and DenaliDad Thank this.

powerstroke, we take hometime in ohio frequently, and while there is no drop yard, what will typically happen when you go home is you will take the trailer to the Limited in Reynoldsburg, and store the truck at the yard of a tow company in columbus. I cant remember the name of the company, however.
There is a storage fee, but stevens will pay that. Its usually pretty easy to get a load into and out of the area too.
