oh, but I had to fight, beg and steal to get either the pepsi load, or the nabisco load... could never get dispatched onto them.
An update on my current job, after a major disagreement with the local terminal manager, and his constant lies, and that the company has lost 2 major contracts due to lack of communication at the local level, I am currently a free spirit, unemployed happy guy.
Did not realize how much the job was stressing me out, until today. -
I had a job years ago that was high stress, high pressure and long hours. One of the other managers got fired and I dropped by to visit him about a week later. I remember him telling me that he had not realized just how far into that style of life he was until about three days after he had been fired and realized "What the f*** was I thinking" he told me I would have that same awakening when I finally got out of it. I absolutely had that moment a couple years later when I moved on. Life got better from that point on.
I hope you find the same in your situation TLeaTLeaHeart Thanks this. -
Sorry for your loss Clegg. I got some great news, the murderer of my older brother got sentenced to 27 years to life in Cali just the other day. If anyone has been following the Rockefeller impersonator story, that's the guy. If you are interested in the story you can google it, there was a Dateline show and everything. Law enforcement asked us to keep everything under our hats until after the trial.

Can't say I have followed it but I do remember the story, German guy impersonating a Rockefeller I think? Killed someone back in the 80's and they finally tied him to it if I recall. Was that your brother they found the skeleton of?
My next door neighbors growing up were a family that had 5 girls. The middle girl Linda was found murdered in her appt in the early 80's. That is still an unsolved case. I am still friends with the two girls who were closest to my age. They still hope that one day justice will be served.
I had a cousin and his son who were murdered almost 9 years ago. They got the guy right away and he is now serving 6 life sentences plus a few more years in a Wisconsin Prison, but it was one of those sensational cases and trials that was all over the news, and Court TV carried the trial live etc
It sucks that his family was subjected to all that publicity and they were very glad when it was over. I don't known if anyone rembers the Wisconsin Hunters who were gunned down by a Hmoung immigrant in a dispute over a deer stand back in 04, but that is the case.
Happy for you Fozzy that you guys can now put it behind you. -
TLea...I can put in a good word for you here...

One of the drivers here just bought a truck (new O/O). He's trying to get the smoke out of the truck. I can't remember what I used. Any suggestions?
-
A cheap way is to have a bowl of pure charcoal in the truck to adsorb the oders, but this can take a few days. Not the stuff you BBQ with but small chips.
Or
Use an Ozone machine. Car detailers use them and my brother uses them in smelly houses with pet smells etc. Unfortunately they are a few hundred dollars to buy but somewhere like United Rentals may rent them. -
Sorry for your loss Clegg.
