If the car has a smashed FRONT end I can't see how the Stevens guy is at fault, unless he was backing on 114,:smt087, stranger things have happened.

You are on private property, and yes they can tell you to leave, it is their property, and the local laws will back them up, as you are trespassing.

This is a simple case of the electronic Nanny state not being realistic.

Flue, remember the big sign in the grass between the drivers lounge and the main building? "It's always your choice". Translate to: "It's always your fault". Talking to Safety will get you nowhere fast if you mean talking at them, or telling them why Stevens policies are wrong etc. These are just the facts maam.

Naa fozzy i dont have any intention of tryin to tell stevens how to run their business. Its a solid model and works. But i am not as clueless as i sometimes act, and am certainly not as stupid as i often allow people to think.
I had the choice....turn tight or kill someone. I had no choice but to go where stevens dispatched me.

I will have to ASSUME that the car must had rear ended Stevens.

One of our drivers was driving down one of the Dallas freeways recently minding his own business and felt a jolt. A lady had rear ended him. :biggrin_25513:

Wish I would had known that earlier. I pick cars up just on the other side of the airport (next to Kraft) and drove past the Pilot quit a few times today. I would had liked to stop for a minute and say hello.

!!! That would have been nice. Got a load going to wal mart in north platte shortly after i got back to the truck, so there was no sleep for me til about 3 this morning. Ill send you a message next time i am over that way.
    Side note....Nebraska smells funny.
Trainer and i had a bet on the way in on how long it would take to get bug to mouth action if i stuck my head out the window to look at the stars....i said 1.3 seconds, he went with a minute. Neither of us won because the bug smashed into my eye. Luckily it was a small one.

Yes, clearly i am very easily entertained.

That is the smell of clean, fresh air. Or, the downwind smell of the a meat plant.

I wasnt about to ask on the off chance the funny smell was coming from the drivers seat.

    That would have been awkward.

Didnt matter what part of the country we were in, my trainers truck always smelled funny. Was soooo glad to get off of that truck. The first thing I did was took a nice long hot shower!
