Standard crap for stevens. Here i sit in dinuba,ca going on 24 hours waiting for produce going to cheyenne, wy walmart. I told my dm i don't work for free, where is the layover pay. i now risk losing this load because the dumb$$$$ can't get their crap together and get me loaded. Just another slow week paying the kings ransom with nothing for me.

you guys think it's any better running reefer with any other line? Or even if it were your own?
It's the nature of the beast. Sit and wait, then run like hell.
What you have to look at is the bottom line.
Some weeks are good, some are not so good.

And most times there is a truck from TansAm, Knight, Central, CRE, and Marten sitting and waiting just like you. The name on the trailer has nothing to do with it, it's the industry. Try flatbed.

    Corporal_Clegg Thanks this.

Dinuba was where my shipper was closed at noon on Saturday, and did not open until 8am Monday... The repower happened in kingman AZ about 2am.

So tonight I am at the J in Albuquerque, waiting to delivery to los lunas at 930 pm tomorrow. DM says he can get me repowered from here... I am sure he can, but not to WY.

Congrats on the truck clegg... you will enjoy it.

And yes refer business is wait, and wait, regardless of what company it is in the produce patch. Even the independent Owner/operators sit and wait...
Have talked to many while waiting, picking their brains.

It is just when it is implied I am a liar that I get hot... about the shipper being closed.

I can't keep the numbering straight or make any sense of it anymore...

Used to be easy, now the only thing I am sure of, less than 3000 owner/op
