    IDK lol

it was truck 9187 in Alliance, but the new company number that it will have for me is 10387 :D

The guy that had it seemed to have kept it pretty clean. And he said he had already had a PM done on it. So hopefully it wont take long to get through the shop. They said the new permit book should be in tomorrow evening.

Hey all, I am bound and determined to become a truck driver and thought I had a shot with Stevens but as I was going through the over the phone interview the lady looked at my MVR and said they couldn't help me because I refused the breathalyzer on a DUI I had gotten almost 6 yrs ago. I am just wondering if I am going to be able to work for any company because of this. Any info. would be appreciated.

DUIs are pretty serious offenses in this industry. A refusal to take a Breathalyzer is the same as a conviction in most juristictions and most trucking companies take that as a conviction.
Keep looking around. some will take candidates with a DUI after 5 years, but I think Stevens is 10 years.

Well thank you, I'm not giving up by any means. I am 53 yrs. old and my kids are grown and I am ready to hit the highway. My wife and I have been married 30 yrs and she is supportive. (Doesn't mind me being gone all the time. Imagine that!) Anyways I am in Dallas, just moved from Washington State and I am ready to get out there!

I guarantee there is a load going through Amarillo out of Dallas that is going in your home direction that they could put you under.

    No produce this time.
    That's the good news.
Cambells Soup to Cheyenne. (should have been YOUR load, TLea)
Bad news is Donner Pass. I may be sitting here in Sacto for a couple days before I can sneak over. Don't have chains and I'm not driving clear back to Stockton if they don't pay me.
I know they're trying to get Cambells to pay for me to go via Tehachapi. So far, no word.
Hey...TLea...maybe you can convince them to route me thru Albuquerque and you can repower me!
    Only two days away!
I was considering going home but with this series of storms coming thru, I guess I'll wait another week or two.

I know there are loads going thru amarillo, but think they will send me that way? I doubt it. And today, can't find any repowers going any direction... yea right.

The worst part is, I know where the loads to Cheyenne WY come from, and I set myself up in those areas to get home, but think I can get one of those loads...
Cambells out of sacramento, HD Hood milk out of sacramento, Walmart from Colton, riverside, Milk and cheese from City of Industry. That is just Cally.

It is like, ask to go home, quick route the driver the other direction...
or out right lie to the driver and say freight is slow, and there are no loads to cheyenne. Now that one made me hot this morning. Yea nothing comes out of Albuquerque. They won't even give me a preplan today.

better ask now to get home Emusifiled, it will take 2 to 3 weeks to get you home.
Last time I asked to be home November 3, got home November 23.
