    As the world turns....
Got my load, but now I'm going to repower a load to Seattle.
Works for me. Get to see my daughter and her family. And I can almost be guaranteed I'll be heading out thru Boise.
Sometimes the stars just align just right...

I lived in Federal Way, pretty much between Seattle and Tacoma. Way to PC up that way.
Yeah I am trying with FFE. Hoping for the best. Thanks

TL, my bet is they will send to the meat patch, probably Liberal KS. You will pick up a load going to the North East. That should get you as far away from home as possible. :biggrin_25523:

yea, but they'll wait just long enough that this storm coming in from the west will be on him so it can dog him the entire way! :biggrin_25524:

    Thanks guys,
I made my delivery to Los Lunas, and at midnight headed back to find a place to park, ended up out at the route 66 casino/TS...and went to bed.

At 9am QC beeps, and Dryver you win... Liberal KS to New York and Rhode Island. Followed by a message from my DM, pick this load up, he is going to repower me to a load going to Oakland, and then have me repower to another truck in Cheyenne WY...
sounds like a circle jerk to me:biggrin_255:
Followed by another message to hold up, heck I can't go anywhere yet anyway, followed by, will repower in Albuquerque. Tell them I am at exit 140. Other truck shows up at 10am, a load going to Salt Lake City for Friday 9am. Not a load home, but not a circle jerk either. Plan is for me to catch one of the late loads coming across 80, due to donner, heck I may even get emulsified's soup load.

So we shall see what the dawn brings on the continuing saga of "CAN TL get HOME?"

Hey TL, what's your truck number.
Depending whether I repower this Seattle load or not, if I head over the pass, I'll specifically ask to see if we can repower each other. I'm 9346.

well week 1 of alliance has been fun. scanned 2100 miles.. currently sitting in Dodge city FJ for the night, on my way to cheyenne with pineapples .. no TL you can't have it ;) this load delivers on sunday, so yea I'll be early.

My first week was mostely repowers, Got a repower off the yard going to IL (hershey) grabbed a repower out of there going to landover, MD then a quick pick up off 81 going to Louisana, that they wanted to repower in Atlanta to get someone home. They agreed to pay the OOR so i went for it. got 2 calls to repower the load I got in atlanta ( florida drop), working to get someone home, agreed when they got me a load out of Murfreesboro headed to texas ( hey first one is free, after that it costs ;) ). Told both of them to remember my truck number when they get the chance to hand someone money.. maybe it will work.

If I would have kept the FL load i would have scanned 2500 miles, but wanted a trip to bank for this week. just like the idea that I can run the truck as i want to ( within reason). so far dodging the bad weather. (crosses fingers).

The Saga continues, made my delivery this morning in Salt Lake city, and head over to sapp bros... tell my dm where I am at, and get told bad news, not enough trucks are coming out of california to repower...
So I get a load assignment, 391 miles empty, and 855 loaded... Picking up at americold in Ontario OR, going to Denver CO...I think my DM needs a geography lesson.:biggrin_25523:
But after weighing my options of going home from Salt lake city, 418 miles, and the consequences of refusing the ontario load, not being paid my empty miles on the next load, it made sense to accept the load, and deadhead home from denver, only 270 miles, and then get paid part of the miles to my next load when I come off home time.

I would ask to repower this load in cheyenne to an empty but it will be sunday, and I can never get any help from the weekend crew.

Hey comic, want to delivery this load on Monday in Denver? I will be passing thru Cheyenne on Sunday...only if I am repowering, as the shorter route is down 287 from Laramie, which I will take.
    My truck # 9419
I am here in Ontario tonight, at the pilot, don't load until 2pm Saturday.
