I know this will surprise everyone, but when I got to Yuma, they asked me to pick up a drop and hook and 'run thee like mad...' to Ogden instead of the Texas load.
Guess they wanted to see if I could still navigate north of the 40.
so here I sit tonight in N. Las Vegas.
wonder where they'll send me next...

I noticed that in other threads drivers have stated they do not chain. Is this company policy that company drivers do not chain?? Also do ya get paid to sit and wait for the chain advisory to be lifted?? Also was interested in seeing if ya'll get paid when your truck is in the shop or when they have you waiting for a dispatch.

I read in another thread about no trailers available for a couple days, and since the driver did not have a trailer he could not be put under a load. Is he getting paid to wait??

The company I am with are cheap skates and we "have" to chain (within reason) and do not get paid for waiting for a MT. I have had to wait 3 days for a MT because some of are customers think are trailers are storage units!!
