Well started the day on top of Tehachapi pass at the Loves. Got a shower and figured I would put shorts on cause I will eventually end up in Taxas. Well woke up and it was snowing!!!! Crap! Oh well I kept the shorts on and good thing! Sitting in the FJ in Ehrenburg Az waiting on a repower and its 77 degrees! Meeting with a driver thats out of hours and cant make the delivery. Gotta start staying away from the Pizza the the FJ!! My push ups are not keeping up with it!! LOL!! All be safe and hope you have a good weekend!!

 

Sorry, would have been fun, but I rolled down to murfreesboro for a pickup.

 

Wondered where I would be heading from west memphis, and it did not take long, head to murfreesboro... followed shortly by a load, to new caney TX...so I rolled down and picked up the preloaded trailer, 43,000lbs of it... and am at the loves just south, where I scaled it, first try, 33960 on the trailer, 32900 on drives with 1/2 tanks... I can fill up!!!!
A little extra time on this load, delivers sunday evening, but hey, I can visit with some friends in New caney on Sunday... should be there about 10 am...

 

Did u pick up at ameri cold? Why go south to the loves to scale when there's a pilot a block away

Made it to Marshall tx today... pulled into the pony express , what a mistake... but no hours to go any farther... restaurant closed, one working urinal, one working crapper...
lots of parking, so long as you can miss the craters in the parking lot.

oh well, mark this one off my list.

Best thing, 88 degrees when I pulled in, sure beats the 40 and rain I started in.

 

Dont like those rough parking lots!! Dont like the Petro in El Passo either! The parking lot smells like one big urinal!! I Fort Stockton on I-10 tonight. Short run to Temple in the morn, got a 10:00 drop at WM-DC on Monday and then another on Tues morn. Second drop is 120 miles away, go figure. Anyone wanna repower!! LOL!!! One good thing is my Dad is gonna meet me in Temple tomorrow for dinner. Snow bird on his way from southern TX back to Colorado. Gonna be a good day!! Take care all!!

 

I have...er had, one of those Americold loads. Picked up friday in Ontario OR, made it to Boise before running out of hours again. Scaled out at 79,960 with half tank of fuel.
Left this morning, made it to Rawlins, WY. Load is headed to Atlanta.
Ran into a driver with a load headed to Portland, OR, so we swapped.
So tomorrow I head back west. At least I have the hours for this one. I was going to have to give my Atlanta load up in St Louis (most likely).
Now I'll forge a reset in Portland while visiting friends and family.
