Benton, AR at the pilot tonight. They need to seriously add some parking to this place. I was tryin to get into the last open spot on the back row and found myself about 3inches away from doin some serious damage.:biggrin_2556:

A nice young lady hopped out of her truck to lend a hand. After the 2nd attempt failed I said nerts to it I will join the pile o trucks next to the shop lol.

This is why I hate driving during the day :biggrin_25513:.

Anyways, I'm settled in. 2100 and im buried behind 5 trucks.

Atleast they will make good shields for the wind thats movin in.

    Yall be safe out there.

And right down the road 15 miles is a huge truck stop, and good food... JJ's, now some of the parking is in the gravel, but one can always find a parking spot...
I scout out for truck stops that are just a little ways away from the major stopping points, Like little Rock. I am a solar powered driver.:biggrin_25519:
Except for the last day, as the schedule dictated starting my clock at 0030...
Setting behind 2 trucks waiting now to be loaded here in newburyport MA. Appt was at 11 am, and I pulled in at 1045... but the space around the dock is so tight that only one truck can back in at a time, and they have 3 doors!!! And don't pull up too far into that marsh at the edge.

    Starting my ten at Target.
They'll get me unloaded fast, but then they require counting every single apple to make sure it's all there.
Yesterday it was sunny and 84 degrees. Today there's a bit of snow falling.
    Ah, the midwest!

Survived the storm, woot! 3 of the 5 drops done and now a freeze warning goin up for MO. Too windy to go anywhere anyways so this home depot is as good a place to park as any:biggrin_25520:.

I thought about finding another place to park. There was ALOT of room at the rest area west of little rock but I figure I would stay at the fuel stop.... Live and learn.

Had some werner driver try to help me blindside into the W. Little Rock home depot today. Nice guy but I swear, don't try to knock another driver's backing technique, it WILL come back to bite ya lol. 1 foot GOAL 1 foot GOAL. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I finally got it in there without much trouble after he stopped assisting.

He went for the same manuver and I don't think I saw feet hit the ground once. But he was still struggling with it after I pulled out locked up the doors got the log book together sent in the completed drp and hit the light. So I could have lent a helping hand, but ya know what, he is a "pro" he can manage. :biggrin_2559:

    I love this job.

Just had a friend who went with stevens out of driving school, and about 4-5 months later left. Lack of home time was the major reason for leaving.

    Well I was wrong.
Didn't go to the mud...er...meat patch in Waterloo.
Got rid of those apples, then a load to MA someplace. Went over to Wally World, got a few things and came out to a new load.
Now sitting in Minneapolis at Pillsbury with a three dropper bound for Denver day after tomorrow.
Run out of time at midnight. it's now nearly 2230 and I'm still in the dock.
Probably end up spending the night here, then head out at 0700.
