You forgot donner... oh so bad... New york is just time consuming, and so much fun after a 3 ft snow storm...
Now mother, she scares me...:biggrin_25525: still have not been to the yard... last safety talk, 100 days ago... Keep getting dispatched, even though I remind them.:biggrin_2558:
Forgot this was Easter weekend, wonder if I will be spending the weekend in PA? Will find out Friday... empty out at 1400.

Pulled out of the Petro this morning to head over to the Burris DC,and as I was sitting at the light right outside the gate,my truck loses all its power.WTF.Luckily there is a hill there and I was able to roll downhill and give it the ol push start effect.75000 ibs. carries a lot of inertia, lol.Got it started with the charge, and heading to Burris.Cut out on me a few times on the way,but it did not die.Check the digital voltage meter, everything sure gone crazy.Up and down,up and down.Anyway, make it to Burris.Guard says, your not on my manifest. What be hap.Let me call recieving he says.Comes back, this load was supposed to be here yesterday, say what,my computer says the 22nd.He says, back in to 34 they are gonna unload you they need this product. So in the door.Turns out dispatch had never called to set or reset this appt, they just sent me down there, knowing it was late.Luckily real nice people here. One of nicest collection of people I have ever seen at a grocery DC.And to top it off they unload me in about an hr.So head back to the Petro in Atlanta, hoping my truck makes it,I pull in,my odometer is reading,120666.Six,six,six,your kidding me,lol. The lady in the shop says, pull around the parking lot a few times, lol. So I made it.Hopefully we can get this fixed.Stay safe everybody.

Pulled into Orefield cold storage at 11 am... checked in, parked, waiting to be unloaded, remind DM I need a load, and my safety talk is due... About then, bang, look over, and a CR England driver did not swing wide for the corner. He tore the brake chamber off, blew a tire, broke this first axle on the trailer, then in a panic, trying to back up, until his refer fuel tank caught on the same concrete barrier, and stopped him...
Nobody was getting in or out....
Orefield called a wrecker quick, to get trucks moving again, but it still took about an hour to get him off the barrier, and corner cleared.. then they escorted him to a dock, guiding him slowly a carefully... Then the wrecker England called showed up, removed the tires from the damaged axle, chained the axle up, all while the trailer was being unloaded...
And I got me a load, picked up over in Bethlehem, headed to Sacramento... enough time on it so that I can stop and visit friends in WY... and still get 2800 miles for this week and next week...
    West bound and down.

Dropped my load early in Ft Worth and sent up to the Amarillo meat patch.
My load was ready by the time I got there, so I'm heading west to Oakland for a tuesday am drop. That will give me 2900 for the week. 3100 last week and 3000 the week before.
    I'm on a roll!
In Milan NM tonight at the Petro. Will make Barstow tomorrow afternoon.

Hey all, sitting in Curtiss, WI waiting to load tomorrow morning. Going to TN. Its been 10 weeks since I've been home. I have been asking to go home for a month now..... missed my sons birthday yesterday. So I'm not happy. Im giving my DM 3 days to get me on a load home or I am contacting the DM supervisor. There is no reason I should have not been home after putting a month of steady notice, mentioning it every couple days. I'm tired of hearing its hard to get to Florida, when multiple drivers I know from Florida have been home twice in the 10 weeks I've been out. Hope everyone is getting miles and staying safe. Till next time!

Sinister, they say that about all locations... but the excuses about getting one home when requested are lame, useless, and annoying.. There is NO reason not to get a driver home when requested. Especially after the driver has been out 4 or more weeks.

Had a good Easter Dinner here at the Sapp Bros, in Council Bluffs IA...
I am becoming a lazy 8 hour a day driver, that only drives when the sun is shinning..:biggrin_25520: Will do 10 hours Monday, to get by home. Will be a long day.:biggrin_25521:

    Rattlebunny Thanks this.
