OK, so he's covering half the cost, so he's admitting it was their fault otherwise he would be paying zero. I would push this as far as it will go. Does he not realize that in offering to pay half he is acknowledging his shop DID screw up. Is it illegal to send a box of horse manure through the US postal service?

Clegg,
pat yarbourgh never answers the phone. Use the QC, message to alliance, macro 55, get the ball rolling, and creates a paper trail. If you want to talk to someone on the phone, call Jim, used to be ED, but he left, and jim took over.. 800-806-4917 should get you to his desk. Let stevens put the pressure on for you.
Stopped for the night at the loves, Des Moines IA.. short trip up to MN for my 830 pm delivery.
On the yard, Dr. Feelgood is back. And the sleep clinic is now on the property. Liked that there is now more than the roach coach for lunch, a different caterer each day. adds some variety. -
cool thanks.

<- has one week of school marked off on the calender.
Gawd was the first few days were SLOW!
Very pleased with my shifting. By my third time in the truck, up and down very easily. Trying not to laugh at the one guy that cant listen and is still trying for 3rd while going 15mph and rpm at an idle. IT DOESN'T WORK, lol.
Computer issues at the DMP has kept me from getting all my tests done early. I still have combination and general knowledge left but hope to get them both done on Monday. We might have figured out a way to cheat the line system for additional tests. More info to follow...
More studying this weekend and looking forward to getting trailers... -
Westbound and moving along.
0700 delivery in Ogden.
TLea...would have waved if I knew you were in town. I just cruised on thru and spent the night in Council Bluff. -
Have a question for all the Stevens drivers out there. Coming back to Stevens after being gone 12 yrs. Has the climate of the company changed any. Been reading alot of the posts and it's good to see that the negativity has been kept to a minimum... Wasn't that way when I worked for them in 98-99.
-
SmokeyBear,
If you mean the negativity from the drivers that should not be drivers, that is still here. This thread is a group of us that do enjoy what we do, and try to pass info on to those who actually want honest information.
Having only been with Stevens for 3 years, I don't know what the climate was like 12 years ago.
Emulsified,
We keep passing, and crossing paths.. maybe someday we will grab a cup together.
Kind of nice to be in Minnesota, only a nice 89 degrees here, feels cool after Louisiana, and Dallas. -
TLeaHeart
Guess that part has'nt changed then(negative drivers) but I guess that's going to be everywhere. I left a career in law enforcement, totally burned out, and am looking forward to getting back on the road. I have noticed they went to electronic logging. How's everyone feel about that? -
there are a some trucks with electronic logs...
I am still on paper, and the compliance department is not very happy with Qualcomm and their electronic system.
Maybe Smokr will weigh in since he went to the electronic logs, and the associated problems. -
