Made my 0200 appt this morning get a door at 0300 and finally get my paper work at 0930. Kroger in denver still sucks. So I put my going on time off message in since no one could find the pepsi load or so they say.

My week is done with 2750 miles and an 8.1 mpg.

So we missed each other again, TLea!
Sitting at the TA Denver East. Made my 0500 delivery on the repowered load in Lamar yesterday, then the compressor on my engine died.
Made it to the TA where they got it replaced finally at 0230 this morning.
Got a 34 out of it anyway.
Repowered a load out of Arkansas this afternoon. Heading for Spokane, then Tacoma.
Final drop of the 5 drop load is tuesday night. Wednesday is my student's final day, so I suspect they'll send us to Yakima to pick up some apples for Cedar Falls (Target) and repower it in Boise. I'll drop my student at the airport and then take some time off.
As they say in the old neighborhood, Questa è la vita in autotrasporti (That's life in trucking)

You can opt for the I-10 winter dispatch program if you choose. That keeps you within 100 miles of 1-10 between LA and Jacksonville.

I wanted to correct myself, the correct term for the new Phase 2 program is Trainee & Trainee program. Dont let that other term slip outta your mouth at the yard or your job here could be in jeopardy. Thanks.

Yes, and Stevens has a no chain up policy, and a weather shut down policy, where if the driver feels unsafe to drive, he calls safety for a weather shut down, and at stevens safety trumps all others.

So close too... I stayed at Sapp Bros, since that was my fuel stop, and that is the chain bank location for I70 in colorado.

Hope you get home when needed. I came home from denver, a longer dead head at my expense than I like, but I don't trust repowers to get me home on time, and living off the Stevens beaten path, I go when the opportunity is available. And I want to get these teeth fixed.
