Clarification- If you are coming for OR1 and not school Stevens will reimburse you for a plane ticket up to $200. If you are coming for school you will not be reimbursed, I know, I bought one under the assumption I would be reimbursed, I was not.

If for any reason you are sent home you will travel by bus, Stevens will not fly you back home.

Starting week three Monday, doing well so far. Guys at the hotel were all partying last night, dont know what part of no drinking they didnt understand. Class started with 57 down to 19 now, see what happens with the driving test, some of these guys just dont understand the mechanics of the truck, wish them well regardless. Stay safe drivers.

    DenaliDad Thanks this.

I could tell on day one a lot of them would not go the distance. Typical immature young people but of course you are an exception. I used to see it a lot in young soldiers and eventually they grew out of it providing they survived the first few minutes of battle.

When we have goals in life, we tend to stay focused on what it takes. Keep up the good work. Knowing that guys like you will be on the road makes me feel safer.

I sure wish we still had the draft.

DenaliDad, Shiftylots and GSWx Thank this.

If your still in that old T2000 in your avatar pic, they might be ready to sell that thing and put you in a new or newer truck.

Still in it. I actually hope they don't put me in another truck. I like this old thang.

Well, it's off to the Big L in Nebraska for a meat load.
Just can't wait to hang around that old dirt lot of Nebraskaland, waiting for my load.
Kinda brings a tear to my eyes.
...wait...that's the bullwagon next to me.

nothing probable... been away from the yard for more than 60 days, that close they tend to bring you to the yard, to check the truck out, and to see how you are doing.

I never hang out at nebrakaland, I always park at one of the smaller ones around the food joints, and get some shopping done at the walmart truckstop.

Had to take a couple of extra days off, one tooth was stubborn, and did not want to come out...except in small pieces. Dental work, but it will be nice to not have that constant pain.

Casper Mountain is nice and white this morning... a picturesque postcard.
