    Americold continues to suck.....:biggrin_25510:

I actually got Wally world in Temple to take my load a day early, well a day early for the rescheduled appointment, or 2 days late for the original appointment. a load of Frozen Veggies. I burned my log book to the ground in 6 days, so here I sit with 3 hours for 2 days, or a 34 hour reset and be able to roll on thursday morning at 8am. All you drivers going by on I35 could at least say HI:biggrin_2553:

But with all the garbage on the CB mine is off so have a safe trip.

Be careful out there. That truck stop on the corner is known for things vanishing off your truck

Actually down at the Lucky, by sharon Jeans greasy spoon. The steak was good tonight too!!!! Good conversations today with a landstar flat bed, and 2 admiral general flat bedders. Interesting to learn from these drivers what they are going through and doing to keep their trucks moving and profitable. I am always looking for ideas that I can apply to my own profitability.

Okie dokie folks. Back in Dallas today. Spent the entire day in classes for grad fleet going over familiar material and refreshing it for the most part.
After two months living with another guy in tight quarters I'm most certainly ready to go it alone! The last half of the day was going over what to expect and what to do during the next 90 days of grad fleet solo time.
Basically you will spend 30 days getting your route info from your DM. Thenfor the next 30 days you will be giving your DM your route. Then the last 30 days is almost like being a non-trainee solo. Once you can keep your variance down and you're on time after 90 days you go full solo.
I telling you, after all this time being a guest onboard another truck, I'm so looking forward to soloing! But I'm glad I took the Stevens route. Tons of training with different teachers really puts you in a confident position.

I know what you mean smoker! I have been with mine for three weeks now. He is at home time and I am in a very nice hotel until Sunday.
I am so thankful for that! Continued best wishes!

I got my truck today! Truck number 10001
Black Peterbuilt off lease program. Exterior is in perfect shape except where letters were removed on doors. APU with 1800 watt inverter. Inside is pretty good except edge of dashboard and armrest. Very happy with it! Took it to shop for tuneup and settings, should have it back Monday and get busy.

Dang Smokr, not even a 6000 number, who did you kiss:biggrin_255: I remember 2 years ago when the first 10000 series truck started. My first trainer had 10004. now they are giving them to the grad fleet. Makes it harder for me to pick out the newbies on the road now...:biggrin_25512: do you know who your grad fleet DM is?

Congrats Smokr! What engine does your truck have? Were most of the other people you were with assigned a truck with an APU?
