I don't know where Jim Combs Farms in Elmer is at, but the best and fastest way to Elmer is I-176 S to the Penna turnpike to I-476 S to I-95 S to U.S. 322 E over the Commodore Berry Bridge to NJ 77 south to U.S. 40 E. Only tolls will be on the Penna Turnpike (I-76) the C.B. Bridge is free going into Jersey.

Reading to Elmer is just under 100 miles going the way I listed. Have fun, that part of Jersey is not bad, you will have more aggravation with the yahoo's around Philly.

 

Yea, I hate that whole Philly area.

 

Finished the swap and this swap was good for both of us. He gets to empty out a day ealier and i am headed for sacramento for a monday evening delivery. Made it to coachella for the day. Now just 500 miles for monday.

This week was a 3150 mile week with the 30 mile day to seguin. And the santa anna winds have been down graded for monday.

Sorry Chuck. Got busy and haven't checked in on this thread. Got a load to Laredo...sitting here tonight. I'm due at the yard for my 90 days by Friday so I'm sure ill get something headed that way tomorrow.

Been sitting here at McAllen Cold Storage since 0715 this morning for our 0800 appt.
What a place!
Parking for 20 trucks, but 30 in the lot.
It's 1100 and so far, only two have been into the docks.
At this rate I'll be able to retire before getting unloaded.
At least it isn't raining.

 

Sitt ing here at the hook in alburqurque with I/40 shut down in both directions.What a madhouse.Its reality TV here with all these bored truck drivers.I have a drop down in Los Lunas for this afternoon,but if I leave Im screwed on a parking space.Forty mile an hour winds and icy and snow covered roads.Walmart can get their soup manana.This drivers gonna head down to the steakhouse and chill for a day.Be safe everybody.Hey guys somebody help me,i need to update my years as a driver on my profile and it wont let me do it.Of course im not very computer literate.
