Picked up in Lexington, now heading for Rhode Island, Boston.
Let's see if I can drag my feet enough to stay BEHIND the storm.
Flightwatch...I know I'm late getting to this game, but take the recover. Then let them know you want your old truck back or one like it.
    They'll take care of you.
Last week was a good one. 3,448 dispatched miles.
Two loads made up 2/3 of the miles and I was under 60,000 with both.
    Love that mileage!
    I love those weeks!

Oh, one more thing at the yard.
Came into a beautiful setup in front of the old man's office. New International Prostar and new trailer (numbered 333121).
Asked if Paccar had been in...sure enough. Time to negotiate.
Then leaving there this morning, saw a new trailer, no labels, in the same place.
No refer unit attached. Just a piece of white plywood covering the hole.
Only this one was a Great Dane.
So I guess Utility will be in today.

I Don't know if I am "posting" this correctly or not!

I plan on joining Stevens in the first quarter of 2012. I am going to pay, via a credit union loan, my own truck driving schooling here in Colorado. I am not sure where yet. I am strongly leaning towards the CDL College Truck Driving School in Aurora, Co. It is accredited and also has PTDI accreditation, and is a state approved CDL Skills Test site.
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the school or has heard anything about it? Or, what is the best way to "check them out"?
I sure enjoy reading everything here you truckers blog about here. Keep up the good work, here and on the road.

    A prospective newbie,

    gary

Got the qc message I'm sure you all got about the Christmas gift.
    Talk about timing.
    Left the yard this morning.

I could have used a gag gift before Christmas to pass along...
