Yea, the company bought 3 of them. It was time to negotiate the next Paccar deal. Sat out in front in December, as usual.
And as usual, KW & PB both fell for the, "...we have options, you know..."
Now the new order is in and we have 3 'oddballs' in the fleet.

Sitting here In St Joseph MO. Arrived today at 1600, ran 1900 miles off this 2000 mile trip, doesnt deliver until Thursday. Was going to stop on I 80 and send in repower request, talked to dm he said no he would reschedule the drop. Waiting to hear the results of his reschedule. Wish me luck, 2000 miles this week isnt gonna pay the bills. lol. Be safe. Shifty.

True it does 'only' affect your 70, but your 70 is where your 'drive' time comes from, and if you aren't driving you aren't making money. I save as much drive time as possible, so I am 'off duty' or in the sleeper as much as possible at shippers and receivers. With the electronic logs I no longer have to 'log' 15 min for a 'check-in' but can actually log the 5 min or so that it takes to check-in. Every min saved is another mile I can drive!

This is where you call the reciever yourself, be professional, let them know what you have and ask if you may deliver today. Stevens vary rarely changes a deliver to an early time.Shiftylots Thanks this.

Got to Lodi, CA today. I'll run the last 50 tomorrow am. I've really been taking it easy this trip as I'm almost out of hours, and don't start gaining back until tomorrow at midnight. It'll be interesting to see where Mr. Computer sends me. I have been talking to some drivers who have been sitting due to the lack of freight.

I know it has a lot of maintenance problems. But man its a sweet looking ride.Alas that doesnt pay the bills.

Sitting here shooting down a fish story one of our owner ops was spouting on one of our other sites.Ragging on Tlea and spouting off about running 17500 miles in a month solo.Shot him down with the math quickly. He got defensive in a hurry, with some very nasty remarks. What is it with these supertrucker owner ops and their superior than thou attitude and big fish stories that they think everybody is going to buy. When somebody bshoots em down they get nasty in a hurry with their holier than thou O/O attitude.Like somehow their better than the rest of us.Their the ones sucking the life out of us causing all these government regs with their badly maintained trucks and their illegal running. And then somehow its the BFI COMPANIES THAT ARE CAUSING ALL THE PROBLEMS.Wake up guys.Look in the mirror.Sorry my rants over.Whaaaats up everybody.

Well said. It has been the supertrucker we have to thank for all the new regs. "Cowboy Trucker" "Outlaw Trucker" add "Dangerous Trucker" -
Amen brother.Im just tired of reading their holier than thou attitude towards us SO CALLED BFI DRIVERS WHEN IN ESSENCE THEY ARE THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM.
