That's the load he had, then when he dropped at Ottawa he got another Tyson-Tyson, still had to wait for the load and only a one day drive. Had 3 days drive and 3 days loading, less than 2000 miles for the week.

With that attitude, I would advise you to rethink your career choice. You are already lumping everyone into a certain class. But no, not all truckers are fat slobs, or Mexican, or African-American, or Asian, etc, etc. But there are lots of individuals of every size, shape, color, and sex.

That's where I'm headed right now. I just got my load assignment. Pick up today and deliver on the 23rd in Brooklyn and Chester...then I saw the dld...01/22 @ 6am
That means I'll sit for 2 days and drive 925 miles in 1?? Yeah...not gonna happen. I called my dm and told him that's not gonna happen, so he's looking for something else.
If I stay on this load, I will have a whopping 1850 miles this week when I normal average around 3000. -
I talked to Mother today about a line 5. She said that Steven's had no plans to add one right now because it is a PITA when they get audited...so there you have it.

So let's have some fun.
When we drive the vechicle as personal use, let's just disconnect the QC.
When it comes back on line, it will show a mileage jump and we can just feign ignorance.

2979 paid miles by Sat morning. A little on the high side of normal. I'd say I averaged 2,400 a week last year on that dedicated fleet I am glad to be off of now.
Sitting in La Porte getting bananas to take to Arkansas. 498 miles by Saturday morning. Easy run to end the week of frantic "Get it there ASAP" loads.
I can't believe how quiet this T700 is. I can hear the radio just fine on 4 out of 15 on the volume. Used to need 6 or 7 in the Pete, and it was quieter than the T2000 I had before it.
MPG stinks though. Hope after the break-in period that changes a lot. -
make sure to let the co. know that you have a problem training with fat people, blacks, mexicans, arabs, asians,or any other group you don't like.it shouldn't be a problem!!!

TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
Hubby and I love our T700. We are in our 2nd one, Cat pulled the other one because we had almost 230,000 mi in one year. The fuel economy will come up after the break-in point of about 50,000mi. Ours has improved dramatically once it reached the 10,000mi point. Still prefer the T660 overall for us, but the wind noise on the visor did get annoying. Enjoy breaking her in.

You are still on the company side I hope, otherwise you will never make your payment. Having to hit the dock more than 3-4 times in a week will kill you. Hope next week is better for you.Shiftylots Thanks this.
