Don't feel guilty! I think most of us would prefer to be rolling. Even though I am only making the flat $350 a week training pay, I would prefer to be moving. At least I get to see different scenery when we're rolling. It may not be better scenery but at least it's different.

    varies widely

Best training available for the most part
Best vehicles around for the most part
Best drivers around for the most part
    Lots of freight
They try to take care of their drivers for the most part
I'm just the unlucky type is all. If something strange is going to happen, it will most likely happen to me.
I am going to have a tight week or two. Phone bill is due in a week and by then I'll be almost flat broke even if I eat rarely and don't buy anything else. I will have to take an advance I'm sure just to have food and drink the first few days I'm back on the road.
This stinks, but not Stevens fault, as I did choose where and when to eat, and that was what caused the whole problem. If I had not stopped there to try to find load locks and gotten that sub, I would right now have gotten several loads done and have earned several hundred dollars.
    I AM SO BORED!
I will be calling Stevens bright and early in the morning and trying to get something arranged to get me back to Dallas and get this stress test done and back on the freaking road!

I could not stand sitting around the same truck stop for as long as you have smokr. One day sitting here in moriarty NM is killing me. Truck is clean inside, still needs a bath outside, laundry is done, weekly update to my thread a year in review, breakfast and lunch, now what??? oh yea walked down the street, saw the hole main street on foot!!!

And NO NASCAR race today....#### weather....

Now i disagree with you smokr that it is all your fault. Yes the food, but a DOCTOR has released you, it just does not satisfy Stevens. At this point it is also Stevens fault, for dragging their decision making, and requiring you to come to dallas for a stress test. You could just as easy get a stress test there, but it would not be with Dr. Feel Good.

Get after them Monday, and stay after them.

(YES my disrespect for the stevens doctor is showing.) shows up for work 2 to 4 hours late, wasting my time. Wants to talk about things outside the scope of the DOT physical, NONE of his business. He hates his job, and takes it out on us. My humble observations.:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25510:

We made it in to Victorville last night and dropped the trailer. We were immediately assigned a new trip and the trailer was there at the warehouse. We checked with security and it was ready to go.

A pre-trip on the trailer did not reveal any immediate problems. Once underway it was a completely different story. The dash lights went out and the Trailer ABS warning was on the information screen. Eventually the dash lights came back on and we headed to Barstow to get some rest.

The load was not the greatest. Just over 1100 miles with drops in Woodland, CA, Calackas, OR, and Palyup, OR. The final stop was on the 31st.

On the way to Barstow the ride was horrible. It felt as the truck was overweight, however, the load was only 23k. A light load.

Once at the TA we took the trailer to the shop. It took the shop several hours to determine the ABS valve was bad. The brakes would work, however, there was no air going into the tanks. The replacement part is $1k to fix. Stevens was on the phone to the shop verifying everything.

The part won't be ordered until tommorow morning and it wont be here until after 1300 CA time. The first drop in Woodland is at 1000. Guess we won't make that.

My trainer tried to get a repower, however, the repower guy thought there was something wrong with the truck instead of the trailer. He tried to give us a load headed to Union City that delivers on Thursday.

So here we sit in Barstow........
