Yes sir...and I concur. I picked up my shoehorn last time I was home in case I head back there anytime soon. Wanna be able to get my truck out.

Ben E. Keith's in Albuquerque is much the same way. If you get put in a door at the back of the warehouse (read: further away from the street), you'll have to wait until the two trucks next to you get unloaded and move before you're able to get out.
Fun fun fun... -
Well mother nature changed my plans... was going to head back out this morning, but not with a blizzard raging across the plains. Called my DM to inform him, at first it took him a minute, until he realized where I was at. Had a preplan to pick up in lexington NE... will see what the morning brings.

Melissa's world variety in LA is fun too.

Nothing like getting out and pushing the 6 wheelers mirrors in so u don't rip em off pulling out

Porky's, Cataret NJ. OMFG
Just like Mellisa's in Cali. Then there's NJ Fine Meats in Jersey. Oh, and Michaels Meats in Newark, built in the forties for straight trucks.
But if you want real challenges, do Kraft dedicated in the midwest. Over a dozen tiny little two-dock buildings where you back in and if you miss, you lose a door. Or when you pull out. And a couple where you back in on a 4-lane street and block at least two of them backing in. Plus the bonus pickups in Nabisco almost in downtown Chicago on surface streets never meant for big trucks and right turns onto the same narrow streets. And their trailer parking area has nine foot wide spots and narrow lanes. That Nabisco is a match for any NY city pu or delivery, and far worse than any Hunt's Point, including getting in and out of the area. And if you come in from the west and miss that left turn, you better turn around in the next few tight chances or you're at a 13-0 steel-girdered rail overpass and no way to back up on a busy Chicago street.Last edited: Feb 3, 2012

I haven't been on in a while. Been busy and trainer doesn't do internet or anything. Been doing pretty good so far. Lots of loads. I've got all my zones except nw, pick up in cali, dock in east coast, and 4000 miles easy and I'm on day 11! Trainer says I'm very good at driving. Were stuck in a loop now for mars going from waco tx to victorville ca and back. I think he is gonna call and try to get out of this loop. Trainer is one of the ones who uses chains so I think he wants to go play in the snow. He is an o/o and I'm learning how to manage the miles to make the payments and make money and taxes and all that. I'm learning more about alliance so ill know what I'm getting into. All in all its not the funnest job out there but its not to bad. Hell, my training payis more then what I made at all my last jobs...
