around the corner from mellissa, you have to back in from the street through the gate and then work your way into your door... with a great big sign saying "do not back in from street" :biggrin_25520:
Not bad if you only had trailers, but ad a sleeper tractor, and you can NOT get a 53 ft trailer into the hole. And getting cooperation at a produce pickup from some drivers, forget it.

Ralphs, in Compton, again not bad without tractors attached to the trailers in the docks.

Porky's is easy so long as you don't get doors 1-4.

He finds me a 750 mile repower with one day going to Smyrna.Halfway there,up pops a dpf light and a check engine tool light.Constant with this truck. And the regen system doesnt work on this truck.Sigh, always on a Friday.Anyways, keep running, gotta get to a Pete for Saturday morn.Pull into Palestine Ar. Loves.Turn off the truck. When we start it back up the stop engine light is now on.Deregs truck to 5 mph.pull out of fuel isle,of course no place to park while waiting on a wrecker.Pull to the curb by the tire shop.Recheck fluids, all are fine.get back in,restart, all the lights are now out, except a small amber check engine light.WTF.Piece of sh=t.So now sitting at the motel with the truck at Pete.Told Bonnie yesterday this would be my last time out with this piece of sh-t.Down four times in 8 mnths. for the same ####,with a truck that wont allow me to regen. Each time probably costing me a grand in profit each time.Sigh.At least we will be able to watch the superbowl, lol.

Finally got dispatched this saturday... get to spend 2 more days at home. Load picks up at JBS Greeley and goes to Dolores. DLD is Tuesday...

Snow storm screwed up the meat patch bad... they could not get the cattle in to slaughter, according to JBS.

Besides I am well past my 90 days out, so they have to get me to the yard. works for me, medical card expires in 3 weeks.

This was a Friday morning.I do not think that computer takes into account their are two drivers on the truck. But of course I know nothing about the system.Im just shooting from the hip.But I do know there were other loads available and thats what it spit out for us.380 total miles, both of us had 70 hours available, and the closest dld once we delivered would have been 3 days away. And we had sat for a day and a half to deliver the load we were on.Of course we ran 1900 miles in two days to get there,I live in Fort worth,so it wasnt a total loss, lol.I do know, that dispatchers can override the computers decision.Because after I called my manager and told him that wasnt going to happen,a new preplan popped up from Campbells running to cheyenne.Wow what an idiot I am.Tlea are the preplans created by the computer.Told you I was shooting from the hip.

nope your not an idiot. Yes the computer spits out the preplans, is what I have been told. Cambells to cheyenne is not that much better, for a team.
But you can drop at cheyenne, and grab a load to garden city.

I spent the week before going home being dispatched onto loads the computer did not dispatch on time. All late pickups, and late deliveries.

The new dispatch system needs some work.

Yeah, your right. They were both crap loads.I just got a new manager, and he seems to be a good one.Can anybody give me any info on Joe Jenkins and what they think.Only had him for two weeks, but whenever I have an issue he has been able to solve it.I dont know if thats because of my harda-- reputation or the norm with him.But he hooked me up with a repower to keep me off those crap loads. He has been able to keep me rolling anytime I needed it or asked for it.Seems like a darn good DM.I might have hit the jackpot.
