The way that pallet loads were explained to me by the planner was that they aren't a regular load. Sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. They assign them as they come in. She said they will go for weeks without any and then have 100 loads in one week.

My trainer had to recertify so I need 1 more week. Just met new trainer, he won't be ready until 4 pmish. Bored now. Trying to get on the internet on my laptop but its not picking anything up. It picks up interstate 5 and I connect but have no net. Last time I was on interstate 2 but I can't find that one now

I do know the cheyenne walmart has 10 pallet loads a week for stevens. High school friend is the dock super.

Well my meat load was ready at 0430 just 30 minutes before the dld. Scaled out for cally no problem. Got the invalid trailer and called the night crew. But at 0800 had to talk with dispatch to get it fixed. And now the constant are you okay for on time delivery.

The 20 mile stretch of I40 around vega had 4 inches of snow on the highway. Made it interesting.

    Flagstaff here I come

I arrived at Burris about 4 hours early this evening. I send in my cash advance request for the lumper fee...no response. I call and sit on hold for 40 min...click. Hung up on. I send another message...again no response. Now I am again on hold. I really despise the night crew sometimes.

Since I'm getting unloaded so early, I am going to shoot towards Lancaster tonight.

Lots of weather out there this weekend. Stay safe all!!

It is a holiday weekend. That can screw up delivery times.

Last day of hometime, trying to get my head right and get back on the road. Have a lot of deductions coming out right now, as does everyone when the start. Talk to you all soon, cant wait to get rolling again.

Where does the load go? call and see if they will take the load early. Some hershey loads are drops.
If that don't work, run 500 miles off of it, stay near a major route, and start requesting repowers...
