First two weeks out from home time have been rocking. Both weeks over 3000 miles. Running this meat load up to Ohio so someone who wants to run into Canada can take it off my hands. Just not my deal. Dont like people from there running freight down here so Im gonna stay away from their territory as well. I know I know.....more miles, blah blah im American, ill run the US. Having a great time and staying very busy chasing the wind all over the country. Be well. Shifty.

A bad fuel card really screws ones day up. And the weekend crew is worthless in getting anything besides a late meat or produce load covered.

Made my 0400 delivery to whole foods. Then over to the J for breakfast. I sent in a repower request trying to get home. I also knew it would be ignored. It was to cover my butt when I did not acknowledge the coming meat load. Went in and ate breakfast. When I got back to the truck I had a load assignment. Yep a meat load, picked up in greeley DLD 1100 today. 3 dropper going to Mass.

But it puts me up on I80 were getting me home will be easier. Load is ready when I get there and run up to Big Springs NE where my 14 ran out.

So who wants this meat load? Has 1800 miles left and 1st drop is 0030 on thE 8. All drops are on the 8th. By stevens trip planning policies I can not make it.

Not saying anything to the weekend crew, will discuss it with my DM in the AM.

Finally got out of Canada this afternoon. The load of springs is 16 hours behind schedule due to the shipper running out of parts. I should have it in TX by Tues. at noon...barring any unforeseen circumstances. Sitting at the Pilot in Terre Haute, IN watching the snowflakes turn the World white...so pretty...when you're not driving.

You were lucky she agreed to throw in the EZPass, we were informed that you could only get one on the yard and it was "first come, first served" so if they run out before we get back we are still out of luck.
We would have spent 3 extra weeks on the yard if we had waited on the shipment of EZPasses to come in. We called every day checking.

I hate days like today...those days that you just can't get motivated for the life of you. Drive an hour, stop an hour...blah!! I'm gonna take a nap. Hopefully, I will be good to go afterwards.

I know what you mean flight. Mine is from starting my last 3 days around midnight. I am dead tired today and have called it a day after 470 miles. I just can not handle overnight runs. Call me a wimp. I am a solar powered driver.

Get my normal message from my dm between 7 and 730 and he says he will see what he can do for a repower. Then at 830 get the message he will not be in for the rest of the day. Then the backup informs me he is to busy to find me a repower.

Some days I detest the attitudes in dallas

And today is my 4 year anniversary with stevens. Too tired to celebrate and all I want to do is get home.

Grabbed this load in Winslow saturday afternoon. Made it to the Loves on the Extra terrestrial hiway outside Lost Wages.
Ran all day yesterday up thru the back roads of Nevada. Took Hwy 50...'the lonliest road in the world'.
I found a lonlier road today...OR78 between Burns Junction and Burns.
78 miles and I passed one vehicle just outside of Burns.
Made it over Santiam pass just as the new storm hit. Little snow on the west side, but dropped down to rain quickly.
Customer taking load one day early.
So off to Troutdale to park and go see some friends.
Hopefully a load getting me home next.
