Well only took 2 hours to be dispatched to another meat load. So I go and drop the trailer have no DLD and get some lunch. Finally get the dld of 0730. Ok pick it up in the morning.
Stevens is so worried about the seal record and lumpers they forget to give the driver the information he needs to pick the load up. Give the guard my 5 digit pu numer and he tells me I need 2 more digits. #### and 0600 dallas time. Night crew is no help so I wait. Finally at 0730 get 3 more numbers to try after many QC messages and being on hold for 30 minutes going from there is 1 call ahead of you to 15 calls.
Now I find out it is a frozen load too. Load assign says 28.
Hook up send in loaded and rolling and that the BOL says -10. I actually was told by meat that I was wrong when he called me and to set the unit to 28. I asked him how he knows what is on the bills? Dumb __s desk jockey.
Sure would like the people in dallas to slow down and do their job correctly. -
Hey all,
I will write my little summary of JCT up because I said I would, but then I'm gonna leave it alone because I don't want to detract from this thread. After all, this is the Stevens thread...so here it goes.
Yesterday, we did the truck selection. It was as I described earlier. No truck was older than 2009. I got a brand spanking new Freightliner Cascadia with 351 miles on the odo. We have basically finished up orientation, and will be getting dispatched tomorrow afternoon. Everything is working out well so far. If you want anymore specifics, pm me and I'll do my best to answer your questions. Other than that, I'm finished talking about JCT now, and I return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast.
Stay safe out there guys.Corporal_Clegg, Jarhed1964, Dryver and 3 others Thank this. -
First load off hometime ran 1200 miles, nice little run to Cheyenne, Walmart. Was looking forward to being dispatched out of this area, I know everything pretty much runs east, and I have not spent a lot of time in that area of the world.
Got a load ### after I emptied out, sure enough, 2 drops in New Jersey. Stoked about that, however......
DLD is Fri at 1800, WTF.....that is craziness.
Called shipper, they said load will most likely be on time, not early. So Tomorrow I will make my way to NE and wait out a reset even though I Still have 50 on my 70.
Keeping a smile on my face.....for now!! -
