So how long should I wait to hear from a recruiter before I start calling them up and bugging them? I applied monday.

I really wanna get going on this stuff.. and start making money.. unemployment doesn't exactly cover the bills !

 

Let's see I deliver to costco, no sams, no the pepsi distributer, no sams at 6am. #### I would really like a complete load assignment.

Can you veterans believe this post? Well, they gave me a 2007 t2000 that was a piece of ####. I spent a week on the yard and it hadn't even touched the bays so I went and complained and they gave me a 2011 t700. Its a pretty good truck, I just don't like that its a 10 speed. I prefer the 8 speeds. And it seems like floating is way more difficult in it then any other truck ive driven.

Anyways, my problem is, where the heck do I put a mini fridge??? All the videos i see show a fridge under the slide out table (which i think is amazing) but I got 2 tiny little cubbies down there... What about a microwave to? I am new to trucking so I'm just trying to get my truck decked out on my first home time. Unfortunantly I've been busy with friends/dad and I am on my last day now. Thanks for all the help guys.

I don't want to be negative but I made more on unemployment than I did with Stevens. Stevens nickle and domed me to death with their deductions. And think hard before you sign up for Alliance.

I never had a microwave but I strapped my fridge in the passenger away. That also solved my problem of training stealing my truck every time I would go to the yard.

 

Wow is my current Employer ever so pissed at me for giving them a 2 week notice. They pulled me into the office and told me that i had a contract with them and that i will owe them $6,000 and i was committed to them for a year since they paid for my schooling. I asked to see the written contract i signed with them. ooppss they did not have the contract because they forgot to have me sign a contract with this all written down. Further more in the contract they decided to produce they did have it stated about driving in a regional or over the road position. Well having me in a #### yard jockey position is not regional or OTR, thus they have failed on that part too. I said good day to them and walked out to get back moving my trailers. LOL

 

I was just amazed how he was griping over little stuff...never make it.

 

I was just amazed about his complaining over trivial things. With that attitude he'll never make it.
