Good Luck Shifty. This is a very tough gig for anyone with loved ones waiting for them at home. Better to come to this conclusion now rather than holding on and regretting it later.
Stay in touch just to piss us all off with tales of home sweet home.

 

If it were only law that a recruiter had to put in writing all the "CRAP" they shovel out, the trucking industry would be a better place.
And then the company were held to all the stuff they say in their advertising.
But, like all the Miracle cures and weight loss ads you see every day, don't bet your life on any of it.
It is sad to see so many people suckered into a job, with no chance of success do to their already being underwater with bills. And then on top of that, they are seperated from family at the time when being there at home is most important.
Best advice i can give to anyone looking for a job in an area where no jobs are available, "Pack up your family and move to where employment is available". Then you will all be together.

What's up guys. I am done with my 5 weeks with a trainer and omg after 5 weeks living with someone you don't know and getting on each others nerves walking up every morning wanting to kick him in the nuts Its over.

I can complain all day long about the bs that goes on out on the road. But it's not even worth it.

Was at home for a day. Now bout to be back in Dallas for this week long or2 class and then go out for dumb And dumber.

 

Made that step, now get ready to rinse and repeat.

 

rooster you may like the or2 part i got along great with my codriver plus we never got east of denver which i also liked im out on my solo homeward bound run now. but according to the office im not actually dispatched on this load and they call me when im 2 hours from final. lol gotta love the weekend crew guess they didnt see all the QC traffic pertaining to this load.

 

Well my student is sick and can't be away from the bathroom..... Lol, guess I won't be picking up this load. Oh well, 5200 miles this week.... Maybe he just needs a break.
