Me Toooo.....Left ontario West TA this morning at 4am, and counted 22 stevens trucks. Had one more delivery to make. This is the first time in two years I have gotten the no freight message. wonder if they will send out mass dispatches just before layover pay starts, but the loads won't pick up for another 24 to 48 hours?

Watching a crow, pick through the garbage and litter all over the place, throwing the paper on the ground.

National Beef made a mess of this trailer. They even had blood on the walls. Stopped in Casaic CA on I5 to get the trailer washed out, and then spent 30 minutes waiting for a parking spot to open up. Was watching it rain, now the sun is shinning, and the crow keeps on littering, just throwing the paper everywhere. Just fell in the trash can too, and then threw a paper plate on the grass. I may have to check out some of the local food. Everybody on the West coast have fun Waiting.....

I am in the class that starts I dont recall anyone asking me any financial questions at all. Not sure if that's good or bad. Do have a couple of questions:

    1. Are there APU's on all trucks now?
    2. If no APU will they allow an inverter?

    Thanks in advance!

Stevens does not have APU's on all the trucks. I was just assigned my truck and it does not have an APU. There were 11 of us in grad class and only 2 were given a truck with an APU. One of the two needed one for medical reasons. I don't know if he went and go a prescription for one but Stevens was helping him with his medical need. The other one was the luck of the draw. Stevens is slowly phasing out the trucks without APU's.

Stevens will allow an inverter. If you run it out of the cigarette lighter the max you can have is 400 watts. Anything over that has to be hard wired to the battery. The max is 1000 watts.

Myself, I don't have that heavy of an electrical requirement. All I have is my laptop. I just purchased a 200 watt inverter and it works fine for running my laptop.

For the trucks that do have an APU the inverter is 1800 watts.
