Halfway down the Shennendoah Valley tonight.
Followed a Stevens truck out of the shipper.
Poor guy was really struggling going up those 9 and 10% grades, but finally made it.
Only have 2.25 hours for tomorrow, so I guess I'll slip down the valley another few miles to Roanoke.
    then comes the night running.
    (acutally, my favorite)

WE must have twin loads. Put 50 gallons into a 1/8th tank. scaled out at 79,980.
In the 9th hole. Had to burn off about 15 gallons for my drives to be legal, but I made it thru the scales so I guess I'm good to go...50 gallons at a time:biggrin_2555:

You should have named him, because others need to know whom these slobs are. If my memory serves me right not much is going to happen to that slob. I had a trainer like that who kept me out for 35 days without trying to get me the requirements to complete OR-1. I needed 2 mountains and the northeast and the northwest regions after 35 days out and over 14,000 miles. During the time I was with him he did or was all the things you named. My counselor "Rene XXXXX" was not trying to get me another trainer. I started requesting a new training after the second week and each week after that. When I made so much fuss by calling all the way up the chain of command did she bring me back to the yard to get another trainer, but she blamed me for causing problems. She threaten me by asking if I was abandoning the truck? But I had my CDL and that would cause me to never be able to get another job. After I finally got to Grad Fleet I met another student that this same trainer did him that way. So, I am going to name this trainer and tell everybody to beware of "JEFFERY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I am no longer with the company, and feel that these two people Rene and Jeff are toxic to the training process. Stay away from them.

Goes to show, not all are heavy but some are. Does not help that I have an older trailer that is also headed to the yard.

Guys, its not up to the TRAINER to get you your training requirements, ...IT'S UP TO YOU AND YOUR COUNSELOR! The only way that a trainer could have influence is if the are contracted and turning down loads.

You have to be heard! If you sit back and wait on Stevens, you WILL get lost!!!

    TLeaHeart and DUJO Thank this.

Ive gotten Pizza Rolls outta Ft Myers 3x now. Nice place to load at, only takes an hour, loads straight off the production line! Picked up at Florida's Natural in Lake Wales 3x now too. Hope you dont get a "live load from hell" out of there. MOST are drop and hooks out of there but the live load i did needed a bulkhead (which i had to get TCheck for) but was during shift change and NO ONE was around to put this bulk head in. After about an hour, gets jammed into the trailer, blocking the air shoot mind you, to keep the trailer at 2 different temps. Called NIGHT dispatch about HOW is this trailer going to stay cold with the shoot crimped...? Dispatch did care so i didnt either...

Best thing loading outta Florida is no matter what your weight, you'll get plenty of shower credits put into reserve!

I hate doing the 50 gallon shuffle. As a contractor it costs me $3 everytime I use the fuel card. $3/50 = .06 per gallon.

This was my 2nd time to florida in 4 years. The farthest south in florida, arcadia.

Picked up both times at tropicana in bradenton.

Got a laundry list on the sheet according to the DM. He doubts I can get it all done by noon sat.

Stopped for the night in terell. Fly through dallas in the early am to roanoke then back to the yard.
