That is standard operating procedure at stevens. No communication between people.

Dld was 6 hours ago, trailer is loaded, just waiting on the govt ok to print the bills. That will be after 8am, probably after 9.

I went back OTR about six months ago. Our experienced DM got a better gig doing the east coast Kraft fleet, we went through three DMs in a month, things were crazy, the overlord said he didn't like the way I ran, though I had never been late on a PU or delivery, we were averaging 1,500 to 2,000 miles a week, I was getting bored seeing the same places every day.
And I go back OTR, then I got my first brand new truck. LOL

Dang right. No problem delivering on time. The somebody set the dld wrong too.

And after sending a condescending message about how the deliveries where schueduled, I got those fixed too. Figured I would treat them as they treat me. Seems to be all the staff understands any more.

Setting in st joes MO tonight. Only 920 miles to go for a 0700 on monday.

My truck does not like this heat. Getting sensor failure problems on the engine, that after I stop, clear, and are not leaving a code to be read.

Nice! I was under the impression that we only ran Ontario and Quebec up there. I need to go back OTR. Gettin bored running my little dedicated up here.

Nice peaceful quite uneventful day. Only message was the monthly bonus update. It did help that I was off the beaten stevens path, until the last 50 miles when I ran into I70.

Delivered in Columbus at noon today. Then off to Welness, Welford, whatever...OH...down in the south. Picked up a load for Wisconsin delivery monday. I'll be there tomorrow, so I wonder if I can deliver early.
Doesn't really matter. Almost out of hours. Going to have to do a reset.
QC started acting up again today. Ran two hours and it recorded me off duty the whole time.
Would have left it, but I figured they might suspect something if I averaged 71mph today.
But then maybe it will give me a reset while I'm driving to Wisconsin...
Had originally been preplanned for a load to Ft Worth, but with the heat, it doesn't break my heart to go north instead.

Back asswards. You'd think they would pay for higher end drivers up front to get it actually going and then ease the newbie's in...... At least things would be getting things done right and make a good impression..... Or not lose new accounts. I'd like to see them succeeding there, but bottom feeder pay and brand new drivers obviously spell disaster.
