Stevens Transport aviary

Driving across Wyoming today my wife saw 11 Stevens trucks. Asked me, "are there always so many?"
I was thinking, "Where are all the trucks?"
Guess it's a matter of perspective.

Got to just shake my head today. Since day one on this berry load, my appt at target said 1500. Checked in at 1330, and get told I am late. Target has the appt as 0900. SteVens strikes again. He says this has become a daily problem, he showed me his list, and my po said 0900.

So I was the last truck unloaded at 1800. OnlY took 45 minutes.

Now at JBS, marshalletown IA, load is ready, but my 14 says I am done.

 

You just can't win!

 

True, but this load is headed south, right through dallas going to "dolores". Can't make daLlas tuesday.

 

Slowly I creep towards the mothership.
In Goodman KS tonight. Think I'll end up at Eufala OK tomorrow and have a beer with my brother in law.
Can't arrive in Dallas before friday. That's when our reservation is set.
Anyone see a green motorhome pulling a red mini...it's us!

I would wait for you to catch me, as I am stopped at the lake E OK for the night. Repower in lancaster in the am, and then to the yard.

Change, needed for my sanity.

 

And Emu, please don't ask a driver 3 times to verify the temp on the bills, and then argue with the driver, because the dispatch is different than the bills.

This morning -10 on the bol, dispatch says 28 and he actually called me to tell me I was wrong.

 

Has anyone noticed there's a lot of us headed for the Dallas yard ?

 

A Grad student grabed a loaded trailer, and came around that corner from behind where the Alliance trucks park. And took the corner to fast and cut it short. Took the front end off a brand new just leased FreighLiner with 14 miles on it. Tore up the tandems on the trailer. Then he dropped the trailer in the middle of the lot and parked the truck, and disappeared. Good Grief lol.

Driver Trainer training is almost done. I have a cool first student ready to roll with me. Just a little more work to get done on my new Pete 587. Im having the right side closet removed so I can put my fridge there and mount my TV on top of it. Im sooooo #### sore. Hole crap !!!!

 

TL...I'm probably not suppose to let this out, but in the STVV Dispatcher's Manual, Page 9, part C it specifically states:
"Rule 1: The Driver is wrong.
Rule 2: If driver is right, refer to rule 1"
