When I went through Stevens school I bet that there were 7 or 8 that had years of otr experience but they had been away from driving for awhile. They were taking the complete school right along side all of the rookies.

TLH QUOTE:>not yet, had to move my life out of storage first, into a "home"... about done with that, and where I go fishing the internet does not work. or phone service. Besides I had to dig to find my fishing gear.

No internet or phone at your fishing hole . . . . . priceless.

I could be mistaken, but I think the newer mcp 200 is a GSM device (cell tower) and is a Windows CE based platform.

Well it's only been three days, and what an eyeful!
Driver asks today to be routed back to the yard so he can quit. We're working him too hard and he isn't getting enough miles.
3weeks ago- 2900 miles. Two weeks ago 2800. last week 3000. So far this week, 1800 and has preplan for a 900 mile load.

Yesterday, Alliance driver drops his load in Tyler, TX. Routing back to the yard deadhead to get AC in truck fixed.
Asked to pick up a load 20 miles away and bring it to the yard. This way he can be paid FSC. He refuses, even tho he is told if he refuses, his deadhead is not paid. Still refuses.

Driver today complains he's not getting treated right. Too many preplans lined up. We're working him too hard. (had 2 preplans lined up)

Driver arrives at final today with produce load. It's rejected. Trailer is over 90 degrees. Fuel tank dry. Falsified each produce check. Being routed back to yard and complains he's being singled out and picked on.

There are others, but these were the best.
Looks like I'll end up working nights/weekend produce.
