I had pretty much cleaned it out with new tires and a fan hub in the previous few weeks. I think there was around $140 in there when I turned the truck in. Yea, it's gone. But I don't see where I was nickled and dimed for silly repairs. I had expected that.
My truck, like yours, was in excellent shape when I turned it in. So maybe they'll be good to you too.
I think the thing that catches most people off guard is the tires. In my case, I had new tires on the truck when I got it. So any wear would have been chargeable. If I'd turned the truck in without tires, they would have charged me for the amount used. Say 27/32. (Amost total tires).
The only thing that hurt me is I had planned on buying the truck and put Bridgestone 720s on . I could have put recaps on and saved some money.
    c'est la vie!

Good week for me, i'm always happy with 3,000+ miles. Stopped just shy of my 70 in Johnstown, Nm with a load scheduled for SLC on monday. I cant made delivery with 34 and get 0 back today so someone might actually get a repower that you might actually like.

I kinda got a chuckle, half way through my day yesterday, i got a preplan assignment. I havent gotten a preplan in weeks. did i mention that i didnt have hours to made the delivery i was on??

just a mental note, does the freaking HOS warning have to be so freakin loud? driving in the middle of the night. not even listening to the radio. deer all over the place. ohh, and fog. 3am and the ffuucckkiinngg thing beeps... i #### my pants.

One of the reasons I killed all sound to my QC. Voices out of nowhere when I was concentrating on driving about made me jump out of my skin sometimes. Of course not being able to read or respond ...at least read, so I knew if I needed to pull over, drove me nuts. My attitude became: If they need to reach me..if it's important...they'll call.
More than once I got a call from my DM: "Guess your qualcomm blew up again. Been trying to reach you for hours."
"and you reached me. what do you need?"
I realize it's due to the text laws, but screw em!

Im back from OR2. Quick hometime then back to Dallas next week for Grad fleet. Got stuck in California for like 2 weeks. The farthest I got out was Salt Lake City then a repower back to Cali. I learned the Taylor Farms in Salinas is just as ###### up as the one in Dallas. ;)

Hey Dujo, what would you say is a good average week for a trainers truck?

I may see you there if they get
us back to Dallas on schedule. Next Sunday will be day 21 and we should have our miles so I expect to be rolling back into the yard and starting Grad class on Monday. Of course Stevens may have different plans, we'll see, but I am in Cali now so a run back to Texas would just about do it for the miles.
