But for the fact that "STEVENS TRANSPORT" is written in red on the door of every tractor, how can a person not know the name of the company they work for.
But i heard it all the time, "STEPHANSON TRANSPORT".
At one receiver, it was first come, first serve. The guard told every truck thru the gate, they had to go inside the receiving door and sign the arrival sheet, as that is what they used to assign doors. A person would come out to the lot to tell each truck which door to take.
Myself and several other "STEVENS" truck were there and all got a door but one. After we were unloaded and pulled out of the doors, he was still sitting in the arrival lot. He was in the office pitchin a fit about why he wasnt given a door. He was told " We couldn't find a "STEPHANSON" truck out there so we thought he had left".

Yes, he's still here. I see him a couple times a day in the halls.

Yeah it is, spelt wrong, all the more reason not to play against him. I only knew because I asked my daughter, an English major, who by the way is another person not to play scrabble with.
