Stevens Transport aviary

there is a charge for every 1/32 of tire usage. when I turned my truck in, the totally new set of recaps that were 3 months old, they charged me for the 4/32 of usage, plus the 28/32 of usage from the previous set of drives. At least that is what the final statement showed.

 

We are on our way to Ontario, CA for a Sunday am Delivery at Kraft, then shoot back to Salinas for another Taylor Farms load going to Dallas. Chances are we will get repowered off that thing again just like the last one. We seem to be going around in circles. I just wish we could get something going out I80 so i could stop by the house. Wifey is missing me.

 

Thought she would be used to it from before!! You only been back about a month. Wifey needs to get her CDL so you all can team!!

 

She has no interest in driving. She is planning on being my copilot though.

 

Well made it to grad, stuck through the BS so far. Overall stevens has been good to me, Just this #### hotel, I think dude needs to sit behind some kind of protective barrier, hes gonna rub someone wrong one day and they gonna jump off at him. Seen his attitude and the way ehe treats the drivers, it is appaling to say the least.

 

Ah yes, spending a fun filled action packed exciting day on the yard...

 

Sitting at Taylor Farms again waiting to get loaded so we can run for Dallas. Three trucks ahead of us. Good news is once you get in a door it only takes twenty minutes for them to load you. Watched the Blue Angels perform while waiting. I've got all my zones and mountains and just another 2600 miles after 3 weeks.

 

Not sure which hotel you are talking about (Crosslands or America's Best), but the group I went thru school with didn't have a problem with either. Unfortunately, the only time I have seen any problems at either hotel it has been when multiple students/drivers are being ###e$ to the hotel staff!! You will find that with most people if you greet them with a smile and a few pleasant words, they will be nice in return. And if someone does 'jump off at him', they might as well say good-bye to their job!!

 

I'm sure he is talking about Americas best. The guy who runs the place can be a bit of a pain at times. I saw him fire the shuttle driver because he would take students to a store to cash their Tchecks where it cost a dollar instead of bringing them to the hotel where he charged them five dollars. That's just plain greed. Just another reason I keep a car at the yard.

 

Does Stevens still have the one International or have they got several now? I have seen that thing several times lately around N. Texas. Also how about the Freightliners? Seeing alot of those the past few weeks as well.
