Anyone feel the Quake near Dallas?

I was dropping a Limited load and thought it was a train nearby.. cool

 

Not for me. And I'm getting kinda pissed off. Left yard Wednesday and had a 600 mile run to los lunar. Was told it was drop and hook. It wasn't. Sat 30 hours in abq. Unloaded tonite and no replan. Now I still sit in Albuquerque. 600 miles in 4 days sucks.

 

Hey guys!!! Question???? How many hours a day can you drive???? And after you stop how many hours can you rest???? Any info!!!! Thanks.....

 

As per federal Law you can drive up to 11 hours a day. You have 14 hours to get that 11 hours of driving in from the time you start your day. You have to be down (not working or driving) for a minimum of 10 hours to start that clock over again.

 

The Los Lunas loads are typically drop and hook. If they have an MT you can drop. add to the fact that the weekend crew does not do half of what the M-F crew does. Weekend crew to me are a bunch of useless people. Are you company or have you gone alliance yet?

 

Actually you can drive 14 hours in a day. If you drive 11 then take a 10 hour break that totals 21 hours and you can drive another 3 hours. Of course that assumes you do your pti while driving.

 

I went to Los Lunas several times and I think most were drop and hook. I do remember once that I was told it was a D&H but WalMart told me that it was live unload. I very politely told the lady that I was almost out of hours and wouldnt be able to leave if they unloaded me. She said to go ahead and D&H. I made it to the Hard Rock with about 10 minutes to spare.

In other words, if you ask politely you would be surprised at what people will do for you...

Actually I would always spend my time at the Route 66 Casino. Only gambled a time or two but there is always parking and good food. They have a great buffet!
