Can you share why Stevens is better than Trans Am? Both seem to pay about the same for a training company. Both have nice equipment. Both are reefer.
Not questioning your opinion..... Just trying to get as much info as I can -
some campbells, some kraft, some baytown walmart loads. they are there. just cause you are used to live loads with dry freight some walmarts still let you drop if they have trailers. I also drop in nebraska, texas and sometimes arkansas.

now that IS funny. There are many things that I feel could be different here. Stop trying to push students through and focus more on driver retention. The drivers above shouldnt be allowed to drive for the fact if those are their answers then they cant think on their own and be safe. This job isnt about holding your hands. Cause the QC said so doesnt cut it. Charge the driver for running out of fuel, having to have help getting off the dirt road, etc. Then and onlt then will people open their eyes and pay freaking attention.TRKRSHONEY and nascarchuck Thank this.

I know one that comes to mind is TransAm has more issues with keeping themselves CSA compliant. Were they not forced into Elog rather than opting to do it voluntarily? I see them getting pulled into scales more then we have. That there is another fact they are higher on the list for violations which is why the higher rate of being pulled in. This was all in 2010-2011 though. Who knows, the drivers who I know used to drive for them dont anymore, after asking them I was told because they cant run renegade anymore.. Stevens in my opinion is that the safety is the best thing to learn with them, they teach you, i had a friend leave Stevens to go work with a different company and come to find out he was happy what he learned because he had to drive down a steep mountain grade when it was snowing......hint hint i70 west of Denver.... he also was teaching his future wife, so all in,if he didn't get the safety training with stevens who knows what might have happened.
moonshadow Thanks this. -
I do have to admit Stevens is very safety oriented. In fact, anytime a driver causes Stevens to have to spend money or go to court, they check to see if a driver violated a policy, if not then they create one for future cases. I also learned that if accused of anything, deny until proven. Never, ever tell on yourself.
