Just a quick question. I applied Friday with Stevens. For those of you that have recently applied about how long did it take before you heard back from them, and how long did it take before you were on your way to Dallas?

bgriffing Thanks this.

It's amazing what a good attitude can do. We are sitting at Americold getting loaded. Our appointment wasn't until noon but when my trainer checked in he made a good impression on the guard and we had a door assigned by the time he got back to the truck. Headed back to Fort Worth with this load, then hitting the yard. I'll be two days short of my 5weeks with all my stuff done so hoping I won't need to go back out for two days. My trainer is at the end of his lease and is done driving a truck. He wants to go home and go fishing.
bgriffing and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
Fozzy... I really want to steal your post remark "some people have issues" That makes me smile every time I read it. So I believe I read that you are returning to the industry. I have made a decision to do the same. I left in 2000 and if I NEVER set in a cubicle again it will be too soon. I have kept up with your posts and sounds like you may be ready to hit the road. Thanks for posting, I hope to follow behind you.

good luck on your next endeavor. Keep in touch. Remember...once a Buzzard, always a buzzard!
TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
Fozzy...when you get back, stick your head in the driver's window and look for the old guy with the handlebar mustache.
(they'll forgive the two days) -
Have my cdl, hope to start or1 on Oct 7th. Is there anything i should be prepared for?

Hay Emulsified, hope you are doing ok. I was really looking into the Alliance Leasing and was just wondering if you might have any suggestions and information on that and if it is something that I should try to get into right away or would it be better to drive as a company driver for a while and if there would be a differents on the type of loads I would get between the2. Thanks in advance. Oh, and also, how much is it per month for the leasing.....if you know.

Well my trainer has decided he doesn't want to stretch this load until Friday so we should be in Dallas tomorrow night. If he can get permission to drop it on the yard. I am ready to accept whatever decision they make. Even if I now need to go back out for 4-5 days.
I stole that tag line from my sister.
