I am fortunate in that area. My trainer has his issues and I was only averaging 250 miles a day at first. Sat three days with NO miles. That has finally corrected. My trainer however is a clean freak when it comes to the inside of the truck. He even had a closet just for me. Top bunk is clean and one day there was a wrapper and a lid from a paper cup that fell out I the garbage bag. He was upset that his truck looked nasty. He sweeps every other day and NOTHING is allowed on the dash. He did conceded to my sun glasses as they cant be seen from the outside. And we shower frequently. I almost asked for another trainer because of his anger issues but after what I have heard about trainers like the one you got. I just chilled and just got through training. Well not through yet. Got a week.5 to go but should at least have 8,5000 miles by then.

Thank you for sharing this video. Thankfully, at least for the moment, the only deaths I have seen reported were a couple in an SUV. Of course Stevens never lets us know the outcome of things like this so it's all speculation and what we can learn 'thru the grapevine'.

    Prayers for everyone involved.

The Stevens tractor was crushed under the trailer of the truck in front of it. Much of the cab was left in tact, albeit smaller. The driver was injured, but there are no details being released at this time. Witnesses said the FedX truck rear ended Stevens, who was slowing for the traffic ahead, shoving him forward.

    TRKRSHONEY and KMac Thank this.

I hate fog. It tests your limits to good judgement. "Maybe just a bit further and it will clear up. I can keep going."
Like others said, best thing to do is park it.
Glad I'm out west enjoying the holiday with my daughter and her family.
Back to work monday. Got a load to pick up in Brawley.

It is my understanding that the Stevens driver suffered a fractured foot. Should be ok in time.

Got extremely luck and was able to get student to his family for Thanksgiving...

Not much going on now, been sitting a day now past appointment time at shippers as they do not have the product to load on the trailer.

Hmmm, is my DM in the office yet...???

    TRKRSHONEY Thanks this.

Has anyone picked up from Washington Potato in Warden Washington?

I am trying to route myself out of there and it looks like SR 17 is the most direct to US 395 then to 82 and on out... but I can'tt tell what kind of road that is. Appears to be two lane, but I don't know about the terrain and topography... anyone have a clue?

Sitting at the yard once again, second time in a week to get the same air leak fixed. They actually did it this time. Of course I'm supposed to be in Grad class tomorrow, so I may not be staying in this truck. I'm second seat, but the first seat is going home in between, so I may get to keep it.

Can anyone tell me what time grad class starts?

Also, I have one of the big Coleman thermo-electric coolers and it quit working. The 12 volt end looks kind of melted, but the fuse is intact. I wonder if I can just replace that end. I saw a replacement cord for "most 12 volt coolers" but it had a plug on the end. Mine doesn't seem to have a plug, unless it's somewhere under the plastic cover over the fan. Any body have any input? I have the big one, I think it's the biggest they make.

    Thanks, waka waka.

Fozzy, you can get the Coleman cord at most TA's for about $25 I believe... you can also get a replacement end at walmart for about $2.50 and splice it on your self... a couple of butt plugs should do the trick.

Thanks KMac. Here is what we call a co-inki-dink, your username is almost a contraction of my real name. First name is Kenneth and my last name is the same as a noted food distribution company starting with McL. (Still no darn residual checks!). I have a friend who calls me Kenny Mac whenever I call.
