I'm sitting at the. TA at exit 79 on I70 in Ohio. 613.6 miles in 10.5 hours and averaging 7.5 for the 1322 miles so far. Got the apothegm set today and I will be able together this load delivered on time.
Question, the QC wants to route me up through I81 etc but my laptop spftware routes me straight across to I287 and up I95, making the required detour around the restricted bridge in Pawtuckett. Am I correct in my memory that the northern route involves more mountains?

LOL, No worries, the string between the two soup cans has broken, management can't decide if they need more string or bigger cans.

Do you have any fuel stops you need to hit on 81 or 84?

For my money, 95 through CT sucks hard... I prefer to northern route. Less traffic too.

Yeah... I would be glad to repower that one for you, but I think you student really needs to experience that kind of fun so I'll have to pass, just for his benefit of course!

You are driving a truck, not a car. I95 on the north side of NYC is a bumper to bumper mess.
Any time I could, I ran I81 up and around, less traffic, and a few more hills.

That would seem to knock out 81... were it me, I would take 80 to 287 cross the Tappen Zee and pick up 684 I believe it is and run that to the 84...

Funny thing, now that I made it to the fuels stop the QC is giving me the same route, BEWARE! it routes you right across the restricted bridge. My Co Pilot software knows not to do that. Guess what? The QC has 2 options for GPS software, NaviGo and CoPilot. I think Stevens made the wrong choice, but Navigo is probably cheaper.....
