I'll only be about 45 miles out of route if I go that way. And it looks like I could bew home on Monday. I could be there Sunday but I don't have the hours, and the Kenworth dealer where I park the truck is closed on Sunday anyway, so I can't secure the truck until Monday.

Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but don't count on them finding a way!! We had a court appointment in Michigan that we couldn't miss, we were given a meat load headed across 80 into NJ. We told everyone from the start that the load HAD to be repowered no later than Perrysburg, OH. Arrived at Perrysburg, shut down, waited about 12hrs. We then sent QC that if we weren't repowered by a specific time (can't remember time) that the load would be headed to Detroit with us. They actually ended up repowering us in Monroe, MI, but were not happy aout it!!

Made it to MD, swapped trailers, got my fuel for tomorrow and parked. The guy I swapped with is still parked. He is trying to get home to FL. I wonder if he decided to sit until they found him a load home? I don't pick up until 0900 local tomorrow in De. QC says 89.6 miles. I'm going to give myself two hours to get there plus try to show up a half hour early. Anybody been to the US COLD STORAGR in Milford De? Any chance this is a d & h?

We are fighting the winds across Nebraska headed for an 0800 delivery in Salt Lake City. Winds are bad here and predicted to get worse until we get past Elk Mountain. After that, probability of snow on the Sisters. Fun trip, LOL. After we deliver, we are supposed to be headed back to Dallas for our 90-day Safety Talk which Kip was nice enough to extend out to 100 days. Everyone on the yard is all over our DM because we aren't back yet. Then, we get a call at 0730 this morning wanting us to do a repower to Kent, WA as soon as we drop this load. Had to explain that we are already past due and had to get to the yard. Wish there was more communication between the depts.

I've been trip planning this run and if I get in and out of there in 2 hours I still can't make on time delivery. What is up with scheduling these loads. 1400 miles and 49 hours to do it including loading. Maybe I'm doing this wrong. Wait, they aren't including any time for fueling, PTI's, going to the bathroom or eating. No wonder. I should be able to sleep while driving, right?

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow . . . actually blowing snow and ice.

    Dec9th, 13:30pm CST.

I29 closed from Sioux Falls up to the ND state line.
I90 closed from Sioux falls west to Chamberlain (Missouri River)

    both should be reopened tonight.
