I am going to start at Stevens Dec 30th. I just got my cdl down here at Roadmaster in Tampa. I went with Stevens because we are going to move to that neck of the woods shortly after I finish my training and they seem to have a good training program. I wanted to say hi and get onto the forums to get to know what I am going to expect!
KMac Thanks this. -
Congrats Toby!

I worked for stevens for 9 mths there are a whole lot better companies out there.
The training is fair except for the phase 2 now called Dumb and dummer. Get your 6 mths in and then go to work for a real truck company. Like Gordon, Knight, Kllm to name a few. Do not belive all the bs they will tell you. Stay away from the alliance program. -

alliance questions
When you go the alliance route, does stevens offer medical insurance ? what is the cost ? , or do you need to find you're own -

I love these well planned out repowers... My load was repowered to a team in SLC so it could be delivered on time. I was sent to Burley ID to repower another load to Texas as my 90 days is past due (not that I haven't reminded them for 3 weeks or so) I am at the towing company, I see the other truck and the trailer, they are both locked in a yard... no one home at the company... driver in hotel. Towing Company says they will get with me when they can get someone down here... WTF?
Mickey Mouse would be upset if I used his name to describe this CF... so i sit along the side of S 450 E in beautiful Burley just hanging out.
