Sitting here at the world's largest truck stop waiting on a express code for a washout. I asked for enough for washing the truck and trailer as well as I'm carrying a bit of ice but was shot down as "there is no reason to was the truck. The ice will melt as the temp goes up."
I thought we were allowed a truck was once a month?
Ah well. I always seem to get attitude from this particular dm on the weekends. I don't know for sure but her Qc meg's always seem to bite a bit.

I didn't have an extra hundred coming off home time to pay out of pocket.

There is also a pre-filter located on the backside of the unit, if it wasn't moved to a better location.
Had starting problems on several of the units when we first got them. T/K said our mechanics werent changing them when service was due because they were hard to get to. I always check to se the pre-filter is moved to above the unit and attached to the underside of the sleeper to make it easier to change. It looks like a small diaphram filter you would find on a lawnmower.

Back at I80 t /s after picking up my load. 410 miles to my fuel stop, less than 1200 to final and four days to get there. I shouldn't have any problem getting dispatched after that since a bunch of us are home for Christmas.

Sorry Corporal_Clegg, but you struck out on this one. The do offer an insurance program for Alliance drivers, but it is quite pricey, so most drivers find their own.

    Corporal_Clegg Thanks this.

I live in Columbus, Oh. I was told that I could park at Thermo King or Kenworth dealer. They both said no. If there is anyone who knows of a secured place or where I could search to find one please let me know. Many many thanks!

Stevens has a list of approved places, I am sure Columbus will not be a problem.

    TRKRSHONEY Thanks this.

I have a little problem. I am due to start with Stevens on Dec 30th. I was set to go on Dec 15th but due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to push the date up. I found out I couldn't afford to transfer my airline ticket. Will I be able to get a bus ticket from Stevens? Is thier a way to shop and eat for cheap in the motel they put me in? I thank you for any advise in advance!!
