Who are you directing this too?

Any information on what to expect while in school would be heeded to. Thank you for standing for our heros that made the ultimate sacrifice.. P.S .. I allready have my permit "A" From Texas DPS( section 6 &14) should I attempt to get my gen knowldge and any thing else done prior to starting school.. Thank you in advance? TBT 5150

If you can get all the written tests out of the way before you get there, you will get a little more wheel time. If you don't you will spend some afternoons at the DPS in Garland taking them.

Just expect a few long days, they will teach you a lot in a short time. It is designed to get you to pass the road test for your CDL and give you a rudimentary understanding of what driving a truck is all about. Your time with a trainer is where you will begin learning in earnest.

Enjoy the ride and Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the PGR service. Lots of vets on the highways.

You need General Knowledge and PTI for sure... one more, can't remember...

It's not that hard to fulfill, as others have told me, just the person who should be able to see to it or at least tell me something reassuring about it couldn't seem to be bothered to take the time to do so. I got the feeling that I needed to shutup and get out of her office because there was nothing she could do about that. This does not instill a lot of confidence that I won't be right back where I was last time with, "that's the truck you're getting, deal with it". I asked about that up front and was told this had changed, that I would get some input about the truck I got, but I was firmly convinced otherwise this morning. Now if the shop can figure out how to get my truck fixed during the gay instead of when I'm trying to sleep I can get cleared and off the yard.

All I have to say is the PGR's are awesome! They were at my F-I-L's funeral. That is the only military funeral that I have been to. It was a great way to honor a great man and the PGR's were the icing on the cake. Thanks guys!

You are welcome nasscarchuck. the hardest thing I did while escorting KIA'S was to stand tall and silent while total greving strangers thanked me for standin in a flag line. It was my duty in my way of thinking..

When I first went Alliance, I had asked for a T-2000 (non smoking). Cat told me there weren't any available and did her best to convince me to take a Pete. I told her no and it looked as tho I was stuck if I wanted Alliance.
I told her, "I know where to get a T-2."
    "Where?" she was genuinely curious.
    "I'll just go company."
    "Give me an hour!"
Ninety minutes later I had a new T-2000.

Today, I own that truck free and clear.

Hold your ground. They want (need?) you more than you need them.

On the yard for my 90. Got everything cleared today. Just need a reset, so heading out to visit some friends tonight and help them celebrate their 43rd anniversary. (I was their best man, so I get to butt in!)
