Does anybody know their average drivers wage.

Like covenant in 2008 was 55K...

Also do they really run thru 60 people every week in orientation ??

Accurate info is hard to find, rumors do NOT count !!!!!

But I still think they may be a good outfit !!

 

Detention pay is $20.00 per hour beginning 2 hours after the scheduled appointment time, so long as you were on time for the appointment. Broken into 1/2 hour increments.

 

Company drivers wages....hummm start at 26 cents per mile, grows to 30 cents per mile by end of year one.

60 to 100 people attend orientation every week. 1/2 are gone before ever being hired on day 3. Drug tests, back ground check, medical send people packing. Of the ones left, another 1/2 quit before training is completed. Find out they can not live on $350 per week gross, and that trucking is not the glamorous job they thought it was.

By end of training, only 10% of the orientation class is left. training is 3 months long...then there is 3 months of Grad Fleet.... By the end of year 1, only 2 people are left....Stevens stats...

From my orientation class, 112 people, there are 3 of us still driving for Stevens 2 1/2 years later. 2 of us are Alliance Drivers. the other one had 10 years with werner, then quit for 2 years, so had to be "retrained".

 

No. you don't have to switch it to Texas. That is only for people that use Stevens to get their CDL to begin with.

Uncontrolled Blood pressure, old injuries that may prevent you from performing your job (blown out knees, bad shoulders, previous SERIOUS back injuries).
Gross overweight. If you can't crawl under a truck, trailer, in and out of the cab and in and outof the trailer, you may not make it.
more people are sent home for failure to reveal a DUI, drug conviction, felony or for failing the drug test than anything else.

Oh, yea...you must be able to do 100 pushups with your team mate sitting on your back within 17 minutes. (just kidding!)

 

thznks i have no drug convictions or dwi and i can pee clean all day everyday. i know i can pass a phisical. i do have a felony but its from 14 yrs ago they said it shouldnt be a problem i did have knee surgery like 15 or 16 yrs ago that wont affect it will it doc said i wad 100%
