I'm not worried about being gone for 3-4 weeks cuz you get 3 or 4 days off then.....while at home you make sure that time is spent more wisely and you won't take anyone or anything for granted....that's why I like the idea of driving for a career.

get used to it, you will never get home when you want to, and they will play games, promise to repower the load you are on, to get you home, and then the repower does not happen. Then they will say their is NO freight going in the direction. And wisconsin is a dead zone for stevens.

I have family around Eau Claire... Mom.is from Chippewa Falls and I am related to about half of Rice Lake. That kid that was elected mayor there at 19 is one of my cousins, two of those killed in the Hunting massacre in Sawyer county back in 04 were my cousins (the Father and Son).

Usually I have been on the east side of Wisconsin, Green Bay, Appleton, etc. Bit I did deliver once to the Walmart DC in Tomah. Picked up in Chanhansen just south of the cities to.

Yeah, pretty accurate statement. You have to really keep at your driver manager to make sure. After you go solo, you request your time at least 2 wks in advance, then send a reminder every day with your Daily Check Call!

I assume Shalonda is your recruiter. Recruiters tend to promise what you want to hear, so take everything with a grain of salt.

Plan on staying out at least 5... if you go home every couple of weeks they will keep you in your region and you will not be getting many miles.

TBT 5150 and TRKRSHONEY Thank this.
