Yesterday I delivered two cars to a dealership in Austin, TX. I got the cars unloaded and went in to get the bills signed. No one there knew anything about the cars so I had to wait until they figured out what was going on. After waiting for a little while, I called my boss and he then turned around and called his corporate contact at Mazda. He told his contact that if something wasnt done real quick that I was loading the cars back up and heading back to Ft. Worth with them. Shortly afterwards a big wheel comes out real pissy and signs my bills.

Anyway, the reason that Im telling you this reminds me of Stevens (well, kind of) with the receiver not knowing whats going on and taking forever.

And also it brought me to reality because I was so mad because I had to sit and WAIT. Something that Im not used to doing anymore. Funny thing is, from the time I went onto On Duty until the time I left was only a little over 1.5 hours. I dont see how you guys do it! :D

    WTF???

I deliver in Atlanta, two days early, get sent to.Murfreesboro to.pick up a Canada load, I skip lunch to make sure I get here and get the load, I sacle it and call.for the Canada talk, 45 minutes of listening to the phone ring amd I get a QCessage to call saftey for a Canada talk while i am listening.to the ringing. I send a 52 to safety and ask if there is anyone there that can do the talk and I get a message.back that says no... they are at lunch...

I have been up since 2:30 am CST, drove 600 miles, did a delivery and a pick up, skipped lunch to get this freaking load picked up... get message to call the number I have been listening to ringing for 45 minutes and get told to.call.back.later.

send another 52 and tell them they can call you. Until they start paying my cell phone bill I don't sit on hold very long. I give it a shot then send a qc msg and get on with my day.

The load is not the problem, it is the requirement to talk to someone and getting a message reminding me to talk to someone while listening to the phone wring because someone is not answering.

I delivered a Kraft load to Union City at the Marketplace or whatever if is called. Was supposed to be a live unload for Monday at 19:30. Got them to change it to a D & H and got the last empty at the place. Then someone called from Stevens wanting me to give someone else the trailer so they could go do repower. No thank you please.

Were you there around 11 or so? I saw a T700 getting unloaded around the backside while I was dropping my trailer.

I was there about 1PM. It was a drop. Im in a 2013 Pete 587
I didnt take the load because I HAVE to be home in N Carolina by Thursday. When I dropped and called in the said the ONLY load they had was that one going to Canada so I declined. Then I called Emul and asked him to look a repower but no luck there either. So I decided to just deadhead on home. Goty almost to the NC boprder and hit black ice so Im parked at a Kangaroo TS for the night. Ill finish the last 4 hour drive after the sun comes up.
