I got Mt yesterday in Van Burden and after my break was up got sent to Rogers for a Tyson load. My dld was 0445 on the 22nd. When I got there yesterday. A day early I was told the dld they showed was 2145 on the 22nd. So I dropped my empty expecting to spend at least 24 hours sitting. I woke up this morning and found a text saying my load was ready from around midnight. Got out of there by 8 am. I have 1500 miles to go and most of four days to do it. Nice 1800 mile start to the week.

Now that got me, and got me goin' a good laugh that was sorely needed.

I was actually thinking to myself "Man, that's a great driver-incentive and nice reward for being the utmost professional, and would definitely motivate me to do as good as possible" and "Looks like Stevens must have hired someone near the top that truly values top drivers".

Then when I got to the end of your post I thought, as I was spitting hot coffee through my nostrils all over the keyboard, "Yeah, I guess I've been away from Trucking too long since I believed that one". Sad really.

Hope you are all doing well out there, and have a safe day.

I still got 1021 to go on my one stopper to Stockton. 501 tomorrow, 508 Sunday, then I can try to move up the appt time. Right now it doesn't deliver until 2300 on Monday.
