Smokr sorry I missed you today, pulled off the yard at 10am. That is the same dispatcher that yelled at me for bringing a loaded trailer to the yard. I know as I dealt with him this morning to get my load.
You might want to call or send Smokey Adams (sadams@stevenstransport.com) an email or walk up stairs and talk to him since you will have time to kill, so he knows that the situation has not been corrected. At least the window guy admitted to you he had not read the messages.
Have fun on the yard, if you can.

Picked this loaded trailer up on the yard this morning, got 50 miles north of the Dallas, and the TK coded on me, low refrigerant, reset roll, reset, get to amarillo, now setting at Thermo King to get the refer fixed, on a trailer that was just on the yard for 4 days.
-
that sucks tlh do they have ppl on the yard that check the refers on loaded trailers every so often for fuel and such or do they just go unnattended whils they sit

Smokr, I feel for you. When I was on the yard I went into the shop and asked if I could upgrade to a truck with an apu. I wasn't immediately laughed out of the office but it was made crystal clear to me that such a truck was not available. I was told that there were people waiting for trucks and he had to get them into trucks first. He said to come back in a few months when another shipment of new trucks is supposed to arrive.

Hey smokr. Going alliance now will get you off the yard faster and make you more money. Look into it while your stuck there and sit in on the class.
If you join, tell them 9197 sent you. -
hey wg can you pm me some info on L/O like diff prices for diff trucks fees, perks stuff like that.
i am going to stevens soon(i hope) and after a few months as a co. driver i am interested in going L/O and i am not the type of person to just jump in. i like to study up on stuff.lots of research makes for a better decision. i am interested in what kind of miles you get, APU's,riders, stuff like that. -
Have my new truck assignment. Bleh. KW t2k. Currently number 9051 on Alliance, becoming 10070 for company. Another one-driver leased truck. Lucky on that count I guess. It also being an Alliance truck, has an apu. So, lucky again. But a KW. Ick. Rough riding, bouncy-bouncy mofos. Oh well. At least it's a truck. Problem is, the guy on it doesn't have his new truck yet, so I have to wait for him to get off it, then for the garage to convert it over to company, which usually takes two or three days. Feck and dreck.Though I was told to stay on 10001 for tonight at least. Yay.
Well, of to Hulu!
Oh, in case you didn't notice, I went from 10001 to 10070, or, I got ahead by 69... -
What else does Stevens have as far as trucks besides the t2000??
