Stevens Transport aviary

i will answer patty as a former driver at stevens. the reason im no longer there is i sat way too much. the 2 34 resets i did at souix city with a short run up to rapid city was the final nail in the coffin for me. now the only times i sit or do a reset even is when i tell my office i need one. took the tv out of my truck as i dont have time to watch it anymore. pretty much have a new load on me 2 or 3 hours before i get to final now.

 

I seen the same Stevens after work only this time he parked at another truckstop.

 

That's whats happening to this Stevens driver I bet,sitting and sitting waiting for a load.That's rediculous.I mean I understand sitting because its reefer but 2 days or better!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's crazy.

 

Does anyone know whats going on in Dallas? I cant get thru just had a truck show up to repower me with no notice on phon or via qualcom Not releasing load until I have some kind of word from home base. Other truck has nothing on QC too

I can't get through either... delivered to Cleburne and had a preplan to pick up in Dallas. Got the trailer washed out bit still have no load assignment. Parked at the TA waiting, but only three hours left for the day.

Parked next to a Stevens truck, said they sent him from the yard to do a repower and that they would send him the info on the QC... that may be down to. He doesn't even know what truck he is looking for.

Oh well. My load was supposed to pick up this evening but doesn't deliver until Monday in Denver, so I can still get it in the morning and run with it I suppose.

 

I am unsure of what to do....release the load without any word or stick to my guns and not repower. If I CYA I am wrong but god help me if im wrong by releasing the load. WHat to do?

 

I wonder what we did in the day before computers and VOIP phone lines.....how did we move freight?

 

I received a call telling me the phones are down as well as the qualcoms.
As far as doing the swap, Crazy, go ahead if you want. Send you mac 21 and it will eventually catch up with the system.
It won't get you in any hot water.
Sounds like it will be fun when I head into the office tomorrow morning!

 

Qualcom just exploded with messages and lo and behold the repower was one of em. Wonder if this is all part of that world wide cyber attack that slowed the net down 50 fold
