Ok so the 64000 dollar question...what is better running the 70 out and resetting or running off recap. I am having trouble crunching the numbers either way. I really dont understand how to best set myself up to run recap. How does recap relate to the computer matrix that assigns loads etc. Any thoughts ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated.

You goin to be pullin one of those flatbed reefers, haulin swingin shrimp out of Montana???
That sounds good. No grocery whse or lumpers to deal with. Good luck -
Running your 70 out, doing a reset and running again you can presumably run more than 70 hours in an 8 day period. That is one of the reasons for the new HOS rules. -

Unlike a lot of people I like going to California.. Just doesn't happen that often.TRKRSHONEY and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
I always loved our trips to Cali!! And I have found that I really miss being in the truck, but the chance to see the grandkids more often overcomes the 'diesel in my blood'. Hubby is settling in finally, his 1st truck was an '07 Volvo with 670k miles. It was in the shop every weekend when he came home. They moved him into a 2010 International with about 320k and life is 100% better. And the room in the cab is incredible!! So much storage, etc!! Stevens could really benefit by using them for training. So far he is staying mainly east of the Mississippi, he had one load this week that delivered in Irving, TX, they repowered him in North Little Rock. Having him home every weekend is wonderful, just miss him through the week!! Glad to see that everyone on here seems to be doing well, and Congrats to 'mistermino' on the new job!!
KMac, Dryver and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
I am currently parked at a TS that is roughly 15 miles from home. Have to have the truck looked at though so no chance to sneak home.
